The National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF) wishes to join all Nigerians to thank God for the peaceful conduct of the Presidential elections. Despite the enormous tension and apprehension that preceded the election, Nigerians have demonstrated political maturity that elections can be won and lost without recourse to violence or acrimony.
The National Christian Elders Forum wishes to congratulate and commend the President and Commander in Chief of Nigerian Armed Forces, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for displaying quality Christian and democratic character by his peaceful concession of defeat at the polls and congratulating the winner General Muhammadu Buhari. We join all Nigerians, and indeed the entire world, to commend his act of statesmanship.
It is encouraging to observe that Nigeria is maturing democratically. Today, we celebrate a sitting president, who after conceding defeat at the polls can say, "I promised the country free and fair elections. I have kept my word." Mr. President, we are proud of you.
The National Christian Elders Forum wishes to encourage all politicians in the country to play politics according to the admonition of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan that "nobody's ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian."
The sterling Christian and democratic qualities aptly demonstrated by President Goodluck Jonathan are in line with the objective of the National Christian Elders Forum that democracy must thrive and be firmly rooted in Nigeria. The fruit of democracy is a peaceful, just, fair, and equitable society. These are the pillars upon which we can build a prosperous nation. The Elders Forum shall continue to work to entrench these values in our nation.
Once again, we congratulate all Nigerians for a peaceful election and we congratulate President Goodluck Jonathan for saving the nation from bloodshed and chaos.
The National Christian Elders Forum also congratulates the newly elected president, General Muhammadu Buhari, and we wish him a successful tenure in office.
God bless Nigeria.
For, and on behalf of National Christian Elders Forum,
Pastor Bosun Emmanuel

Dear Yusuf Olatunji, Please fear God and don't be rude to His messengers. "Touch Not my anointed and do my prophets no harm..." The ways of God are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts... He knows what He wants to achieve with the message He sent through Pastor Bosun Emmanuel to this nation. Without the message of Pastor Bosun Emmanuel, we will not be experiencing this temporary peace we have. His message made many groups and persons to re-adjust and it will still continue to influence decisions of many in the future to come. Pastor Bosun Emmanuel is a true prophet and a child of God. He did not incite christians against any but he gave us useful information whcih has become light to guide us in this nation. He deserve commendation and not condemnation.
May God bless Pastor Bosun Emmanuel and his team members.
Note however, that we must still pray to avoid the real danger that is still ahead. Its not yet over untill we pray more to the most High God.
That Buhari is president elect did not in any way change the crucial issues raised by the wake up call.
Answer these questions:
1. Has the Sharia inserted in the Constitution removed?
2. The $21 billion mentioned in the message to Islamize Nigeria, has it been refunded?
3. The Abuja Declaration, has it been refuted?
Those are the issues man. Wake up.
The good thing however, is that we cannot claim that we were ignorant. The alarm was blown, the sound of the trumpet was clear and those sent to warn the church delivered the message.
