Prayer Points for December 2014

Beloved Brethren,

To the glory of God, we have come to the last lap of year 2014. Isn’t God awesome to have preserved us despite or sinfulness? We glorify His holy name for great is His Faithfulness and steadfast is His Love.

These are evil times all over the world. The devil is getting bolder and bolder this season and has concluded in his small mind that, “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High” – Isaiah 14:13-14. But hear what the sovereign Lord says concerning him, “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms… But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet” – Isaiah 14:15-16, 19.

This is the portion of the enemy despite his posturing. Believe it and you will see his activities dissolved sooner than you can imagine.

As usual, please choose the hour that is most convenient for you between 12 midnight and 6:00 a.m.

Welcome to December. Shalom!

JEHOVAH ELOHIM, Wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against You and had peace? You removeth mountains and they know it not, when You overturneth them in Your anger. You shaketh the earth out of its place and the pillars thereof tremble. You commandeth the sun and it riseth not and You sealeth up the stars. You alone spreadeth out the heavens and treadeth upon the high waves of the sea. Who doeth great things past finding out and wonders without number, things too wonderful for us to comprehend.

You taketh away and who will hinder You; who will say unto You what doest thou? You leadeth counsellors away spoiled and judges maketh You fools. You weakeneth the government of kings and bindeth their loins with a fetter. You leadeth Priests away spoiled and overthroweth the mighty. You poureth contempt upon nobles and slackeneth the girdle of the mighty. You discovereth the deep things out of darkness and bringeth into light the shadow of death. You increaseth the nations and destroyeth them. You spreadeth out the nations and bringeth them in. You taketh away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste. They grope in the dark without light and You maketh them to stagger like a drunkard. Sheol is naked before You and destruction hath no covering. You stretcheth out the north over empty space; You hangeth the earth upon nothing. You bindeth up the waters in Your thick clouds and the cloud is not rent under them. You covereth the face of Your throne, You spreadeth Your cloud upon it. You have traced a fixed circle over the waters unto the confines of light and darkness.

The Pillars of the earth tremble and are astonished at Your rebuke. You stirreth up the sea by Your power and by Your understanding. You smiteth through Rahab. By Your Spirit, the heavens are adorned. Your hand has formed the fleeing serpent.

O Lord You are exalted in Your power, who teacheth as You? You spreadeth Your light around You and covereth the bottom of the sea. You thundereth marvelously with Your voice doing great things which we do not comprehend. You saith to the snow, fall on the earth and to the pouring rain, even the pouring rains of Your might. You bringeth forth the whirlwind from the chamber of the south and cloud from the winds of the north.

By Your breath oh God ice is given, and the breadth of the waters is straitened. Also with plentiful moisture You loadeth the thick clouds, Your light dispels the cloud. You turneth the clouds everywhere by Your guidance that they may do whatever You commandeth them to do upon the face of the circuit of the earth. You set the measure of the earth and stretched a line upon it. You laid the foundations of the earth and set its cornerstone. You shut up the sea with doors when it burst forth, issuing out of the womb.  You set the boundaries for the seas and set bars and doors for it and You stayed the proud waves. You commandeth the morning and causeth the dawn to know its place. You  taketh hold of the ends of  the earth and shaketh out the wicked. You knoweth the dwelling place of light and darkness is not hidden before You.

You reserveth a storehouse of snow and treasures of hail for the time of distress, the time of battle and war. You parteth the light and scattereth the East wind upon the earth. You divideth a channel for the rain flood and a way for the thunder’s flash. You knoweth the ordinances of the heavens and determine their rule over the earth.

But these oh most excellent Jehovah, are only the hints of Your mighty power, only whispers that we have heard. Who can know how truly great You are. You are sovereign, the King of all ages and Your counsel stands. Lord we acknowledge Your authority and we worship You as the monarch of the universe whose power is unquestionable.

Adoration, thanksgiving & repentance

Nigeria is presently facing monumental security issues occasioned by terrorist activities of Boko Haram. From 2002 to date this group has killed no fewer than 12,000 people, majorly Christians and burning hundreds of Churches. Most of their Christian targets that refuse to renounce their faith are hacked to death. As if that was not enough there are also reports of high ranking military officers selling arms and classified military intelligence to this terrorist group. This has compromised military efforts leading to high deaths amongst soldiers and other untold hardships. Nigeria is today number 1 on the global Christian persecution list with Boko Haram standing as the world number 2 terrorist group next to the Taliban.

Pray the Lord to give the president wisdom to manage such threats and people as this. Pray that where arrests, prosecution and imprisonment needed to be made it should be made.

Prayer Points for November 2014

PLEASE NOTE: There are two prayer schedules in this section. One is from the Remnant Fellowship and the other is from the Intercessors for Nigeria below it.

Beloved Warriors,

As we enter the 'ember' months, may the Lord God Almighty of all grace, who has called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, make us perfect, establish, strengthen and settle us in Jesus name.

Please, be not weary in praying some more. But above all, step into action and more action of what God has called you to do this season! A lot of praises and thanksgiving, repentance of the evil done around us, and declarations will do the most work even as we continue in the attached prayers (see attached 3 files).

Kindly ensure that you get as many Christians as possible praying these prayers until the atmosphere is saturated with effectual, fervent prayers of the RIGHTEOUS; and then the structure of the enemy will just crumble as a pack of cards - SUDDENLY IT WILL ALL BE OVER!

1ST NOV. – 30TH NOV. 2014 (12MIDNIGHT – 3AM)

From the sounding in the Spirit, it is very clear God is calling on all watchmen in the Nation to once again stir up the Spirit of travail in them.

It is true we just won the battle against the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) but the victory will be complete when the entire West African Region is delivered from the same scourge. And this can be achieved as we continue to sacrifice and stretch ourselves in the place of Strategic Intercession and Spirit-Directed prayer actions.

Again, now that the political tension across the nation is building up as a result of the coming 2015 general elections, the indication for deep travail in prayer to help quiten the polity has now become so strong.

It is against this background that I send out these prayer points for the month of November. Hoping that we shall all be faithful and committed to pray them as a matter of covenant.

This Prayer Guide will last for all of NOVEMBER.

As usual, the FIRST and the LAST days Fast/Prayers will be observed by all WATCHMEN in the Houses of Prayer. Thereafter every Intercessor must choose at LEAST one or two other days to observe the fast/prayers every week.

Where possible, central places of Prayers should be arranged where Intercessors on prayer duty on any given day can come together and observe the prayers.

Let the Guide serve as a mere outline. Intercessors are free to enlarge the prayer points as the Spirit of the Lord may lead. Leaders should remember to take off time to study the referenced scriptures well ahead of the prayer times.

I encourage you to PRINT OUT the Prayer Guide and circulate them widely amongst praying and concerned WATCHMEN/CHURCHES.

May the Lord richly bless all who made contributions to this Prayer Guide and continue to depend on them. NIGERIA IS IN GOD’S HAND!!!

DAY 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

Take this chorus a couple of times to prepare for today’s prayers.

“Forever oh! Lord

Thy word is settled in heaven”

PSALM 124:1-2

Thank God who was on the side of Nigeria and helped us become an Ebola Free Nation. Notice that we are in no way better than Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea where the Virus has claimed about 4,500 lives.

PSALM 124:3-5

Just try imagining the magnitude of the calamity that the spread of Ebola among our population of 170million with all our extensive porous boundaries. Let us therefore praise Him with deep understanding. Let all creation in Nigeria join in praising this merciful God.

PSALM 124:6-8

Let us bless the name of the Lord who frustrated the wicked plans of Western Nations against us. They were determined to reduce Nigeria’s population using such lethal bio-engineered diseases like Ebola but God did not permit their intentions.

PSALM 124:6-8

Thank God who has caused Nigeria to escape from all their wicked traps. Their snares are broken forever and Nigeria has been helped by the God of Heaven, whose ways are past finding.

Proclaim PSALM 126:1-6

The Ebola victory in Nigeria is still like a dream. It is almost unbelievable. Let us thank God who has filled our mouth with laughter and our tongue with singing. God has indeed been good to Nigeria and Nigerians.

Proclaim PSALM 127:1-5

While we acknowledge the good leadership shown by government and the unprecedented spirit of collaboration in fighting the Ebola war in Nigeria, we ultimately still owe the victory to the Almighty God. Let us worship and glorify Him because He made all the difference.

PSALM 130:1-2

Let us bless God who heard the cry of the Church and banished Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) from Nigeria. He honored the prayers and petitions of His people. Give Him quality thanks one more time.

PSALM 130:3-4

Thank God who did not treat Nigeria as our iniquities rightly deserved. He forgave us and had mercy on us. Tell Him how grateful we are.

Read PSALM 3:3

Declare and proclaim that God remains Nigeria’s shield, her glory and the lifter up of her head. The wicked desires of enemies will never prosper against this beautiful Nation.

PSALM 125:2

Declare and proclaim that as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so shall the Lord surrounds Nigeria from this time and to all generations.

PSALM 125:3

Inspite of the international conspiracy against us as a Nation, declare and proclaim that the scepter of their wickedness shall not rest upon the Land of Nigeria because the Almighty has elected her to be a Missionary nation.

PSALM 129:1-6

Declare that all who hate Nigeria whether Nations or 5th Columnists shall be put to shame. They shall never prevail but like grass on the housetops, they shall wither before they grow up.

Proclaim PSALM 121:1-8

Turn every verse into a prayer of declaration for the Nation. Pray that God’s hands be strong over Nigeria in this season.

PHIL. 1:6, PSALM 107:19-20

Now that Nigeria has become Ebola free, declare that the same mercy of God that helped Nigeria will work in the whole of West Africa to eradicate the Virus from the entire sub-region. Let God send His word and heal them and deliver them from their destructions.

DAY 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

Take 2 or 3 worship songs to come in to the Presence of The Lord.

Proclaim ISA. 51:15 (Repeat this proclamation three times)

Let us pray and acknowledge God as our LORD who is powerful and able to do all things. Let us pray and renew our confidence and faith in Him as the LORD OF HOSTS who has all things in creation under His command.

Read ISA. 15:16

Pray to consciously embrace and enter into the many fold blessings of His call/assignment upon us as the Church, which includes:

  •    His companionship – (The Lord our God)
  •    His words in our mouth – (Not man’s word)
  •    His protection (The shadow of His hand)
  •    His purpose – To plant the heavens and establish the earth

Read NUM. 23:1-5; 13-16, 27-30

It is a man’s sacrifice that speaks for him in the Spirit, hence Balaam always asked Balak to stand by his burnt offering. Sacrifice is truly the currency of transaction in the Spirit realm. Pray that God will stir up the Church in this season to pay a huge sacrifice in prayer that will move Nigeria forward in every area of our national life.

Read 2 SAM. 24:24-25

David was given an opportunity to make sacrifice without the cost of purchasing the sacrificial animal. But he insisted on paying for it. So he bought the threshing floor and the Oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them. He built an altar to the Lord there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the Lord answered prayer on behalf of the land and the plaque on Israel was stopped.

Pray for the out pouring of the Spirit of sacrifice upon all watchmen in this season. Like David, pray that we cease to pray for this nation in the manner that costs us nothing. Pray that our sacrifice will purchase healing for this land.

Read REV. 4:8 (Repeat it three times)

There is no way the will of God will be done in Nigeria if the Church is not prepared to stretch herself in Intercession. The above scripture shows that the four living creatures are on duty every day and night praising God’s holiness, omnipotence and eternity.

Let us pray to renounce every laxity, excuses, personal ambitions and encumbrances that will seek to stand in the way of all faithful and covenant watchmen in Nigeria.

Read NUM. 25:7-13

Pray that God will raise and multiply the "Phenehas" company in the Church. These will be people of uncommon zeal and initiatives who will be used mightily to appease the heart of God in this nation.

EZK. 22:23-31

God has made it clear that intercession releases the power of God to work in the affairs of men. Let us pray that the eyes of the Church will be enlightened to see the great need for intercession in this hour and to give it the required priority time and attention.

EZK. 22:30

The ministry of Intercession costs time, energy, sleep, purity of motive, greater faith than most other things we do. Sometimes immediate results to prayers are not seen and we may need to wait to see them. Let us therefore pray that the price and sacrifice that is required will not make Intercession a passive issue in the heart of believers. Ask God for grace and strength for the Church in the place of prayers.

REV. 3:14-22

Bring general repentance for laziness, lust, lukewarmness and all vanities of the world system in the Church. Pray that the Church will awake to holiness, Intercession, Evangelism, Discipleship and Mission. Pray that the Church will be diligent in keeping her watches in prayers and to understand and discern the times and seasons. Let God bring us to the point where personal concerns will no longer mean more than the cause God and the Nation.

MATT. 16:18-19 (Repeat it three times)

Pray that God will stir up the Church in this season to do the following:

  •    To overcome every degree of Spiritual slumber.
  •    To pray everywhere and every time for our nation.
  •    To raise altars everywhere and do prayer walks to possess the land.
  •    To stretch herself in fasting, midnight watches and worship.
  •    To assemble prophetic intercessors in the nation to pray and seek God’s counsel on warfare strategies.
  •    To locate and confront satanic altars, thrones, gates, satanic priests and gate keepers.
  •    To teach believers how to sacrifice and embrace the “if I perish, I perish mindset”.

JER. 51:20-24

Pray that the Church in Nigeria will transform into the Lord’s battle axe and weapons of war against all forms of wickedness in the land.

Ask the LORD to wake up the sleeping army and cause our hands to be strong for the end-time battles, let God reset our minds to be combat-ready against the wiles of the enemy.

Let the voice of the church be strong to condemn the evil activities in the society, wicked polices in various sectors and false teachings and prophets in our congregations.

Lament over the increasing rate of divorce among Christian families and its effects on their children, let God bring restoration. Declare God’s visitation upon our families to remove every weight and besetting sins that have affected our spiritual growth.

DAY 3, 10, 17, 24

Begin by singing a couple of songs to prepare for today's Prayers.

Read ZECH. 6:1-8

Plead with God to release the four chariots from between the two mountains of brass to execute His sovereign judgment against all the camps of wickedness in the nation. Ask God to give these chariots specific instructions and matching orders against satanic altars, evil spirits, satanic sacrifices and all evil gatherings.

Read PSALM 75:2-3

Let us pray that God will choose this season as the proper time to judge wickedness from the womb of Ishmael in the Nation. Ask God to dissolve all mayhem they have planned against Nation.

PSALM 74:22:23

Invite God to arise as the one who created all these lives that are being wasted daily, to plead His cause against all terrorists and mischief makers in the land. Let God silence their voices and the tumult of all who rise up against His purposes for Nigeria.

PSALM 75:8

Pray and compel the wicked enemies of this nation to drink from the cup of God’s fury and judgment. Command them to drain and drink it down. Let them find a place with drunkards.

PSALM 76:1-3

Pray that God will reveal Himself in Nigeria. Let Him be jealous for His name. Ask Him to make Himself known. Invite Him to break the arrows of the bow, the shields and the swords of the wicked.

PSALM 76:5

Prophesy that God will plunder the proud and stout hearted people who have stolen this nation blind. All the satanic mighty princes in this nation must loose the use of their hands in this season.

PSALM 76:6, 2 KINGS 19:35

Pray and stir up the rebuke of the Lord against the wicked so that their chariots and horses be cast into a deep sleep.

PSALM 76:8 (Repeat this seven times)

Oh Lord cause your judgment to be heard from heaven against all oppressors in the land who oppress by sorcery, intimidation, discrimination, corruption, cultism etc.

Prayer Points for Oct. 2014

God’s Warriors!

Have you seen the light getting brighter and brighter at the end of the tunnel? I have, from my observation post. Ever since intercession was intensified for the Nigerian Army, there has been a remarkable improvement in their performance, electricity supply has also improved, Christians are being stirred up from slumber, strongholds are being thrown down daily, etc etc. Isn’t Jehova awesome! More changes are on the way, REJOICE.

AND THERE WAS WAR ... Prophetic Call To Prayers

And there was war… and the dragon fought… (Revelation 12:7).

A great prophet perplexed me lately when he wrote about “the vision” that he “saw,” prompting me to open anxious eyes to also see what he had seen, but he proceeded to announce a message rather than narrate the signs that I supposed he should have seen in a “vision.”

7 ThingsThe Church Should Do Now

Monday 25th August, 2014

In view of the various challenges facing the church in Nigeria, may I seek your kind permission to make some suggestions on ACTION POINTS for the church?

I am aware that the response of the church to the issues of the moment must be well articulated and corporately coordinated. Our responses will be in 3 stages:

  1. Short term
  2. Medium term
  3. Long term

Please consider these suggestions as forming part of the short term immediate steps that should be considered by Nigerian Christians.

Kindly permit me to stress that these suggestions are what I have been calling them: SUGGESTIONS. I do not consider myself competent or qualified to give directions to the church.

The suggestions should be prayerfully considered, even as they were prayerfully received for the benefit of the both the church and the nation.

On 15th September, 2013, God spoke expressly to Prof. Anigbogu that “if care is not taken, in 30 – 40 years, Nigeria will be like Turkey”.

That warning from heaven carries some ominous messages with it. For example:

  1. The Nigerian church has an ultimatum of 30 years to take corrective measures or else, it will be completely overrun by Islam.
  2. We may be the last Christians in Nigeria. (God forbid!)
  3. We may not hand over Christianity to our children.

According to the assessment of heaven, the Nigerian church has become “irresponsible”.

I am writing this article towards the end of August 2014, one year after God issued the verdict concerning the Nigerian church. For that period of one year, what has been the corporate response of the Nigerian church to God?

The Nigerian church has done nothing corporately to respond to the verdict. That is very dangerous. This kind of attitude can best be described as the “Eli syndrome”; after “Eli’s syndrome” comes Ichabod.

We must not treat this warning with levity or indifference because we are aware that the verdict from heaven is true. If the verdict is true, then the judgment must also be true.

Therefore, may I humbly suggest that we set apart one Sunday in September 2014, as a day of NATIONAL REPENTANCE and NATIONAL RE-DEDICATION? On that day, let every Christian assembly in Nigeria, as well as in the diaspora, pray prayers of repentance on behalf of the church and the nation. To allow the information to circulate may I also suggest the last Sunday, 28th September, 2014?

Thus, one year after God issued His verdict, we shall respond with national repentance.

God has already shown that He is ready to forgive us if we repent. On 1st August this year, He led us to raise a 6 hour altar of praises and repentance at the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos. During the prayer session, He spoke clearly that He has forgiven our nation. God Himself chose National Theatre as the venue for the praises. (Those who understand what went wrong with Nigeria will understand the significance of the National Theatre, the venue of FESTAC ’77.)

Since we have the assurance of receiving forgiveness, we should corporately, humbly, go before God as a nation.

There are many things to repent of: worship of mammon in the church and in the nation, blood guiltiness all over the land, idolatry, adultery and immorality, corruption, hypocrisy in the church, ritual killing and cultism, neglect of evangelism, indifference to the Great Commission, drug addiction, neglect of widows, orphans and the fatherless, oppression and injustice in the land, disobedience and carnality in the church, etc.

If it seems good in your eyes, let us corporately, as the Nigerian church, ask God for forgiveness on Sunday 28th September, 2014.

Drastic situations, they say, require drastic actions.

The Nigerian government realized that a war has been declared against the nation and the government declared a state of emergency in the land. Should not the church, which is the main target of that war, also declare a state of emergency in the church?

In 2012, Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram, said:

“This war is not political. It is religious. It is between Muslims and unbelievers (arna). It will stop when Islamic religion is the determinant in governance in Nigeria or, in the alternative, when all fighters are annihilated and no one is left to continue the fight. I warn all Muslims at this juncture that any Muslim who assists an unbeliever in this war should consider himself dead.”

This statement is a declaration of war against the nation and against the Church. The nation has responded by declaring a state of emergency. What is the church doing?

Rev. Moses Aransiola wrote a letter to the churches ( urging the church to declare a state of emergency to deal with the present challenges. The eminent Christian leader counselled that all activities in the church should be suspended and focus must be on militant and intercessory prayers until normalcy returns to the church and to the land. Suspend all activities and focus on prayers!

While the enemies of the church mobilize with carnal weapons, let the church mobilize its spiritual weapons and contend with the foes at the gate.

When power meets power, the lesser power must bow!

Every fellowship of Christians should henceforth give precedence and prominence to warfare and intercessory prayers against the hordes of hell that have risen against the purpose of God in Nigeria. Sunday worship, Bible Study, Vigils and meetings must be turned into prayer meetings.

Every platform that terrorism is standing upon in Nigeria must be prayerfully dismantled; the gods that did not create the heavens and the earth must perish from the earth and from under these heavens. (Jer. 10: 11)

Sir/ma, we have two options. We either go on our knees, or we go to war.

WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR STREET? (Evangelism Reloaded)

It is good to learn from the mistakes of others so that errors from the past do not destroy the future.

The entire North Africa was Christianity friendly until Islam overran it. What happened? The early “church fathers” were busy arguing doctrines with each other. They neglected evangelism and busied themselves expounding Biblical exegesis. On the day Islam arrived, there was no one to defend Christianity.

Before the Nigerian church falls into the same error, we need to re-focus every Christian immediately on evangelism.

Knowing full well that evangelism strikes terror and panic into the hearts of many Christians, here is a simple suggestion on how to do it effectively.

  1. Take a partner, and together select a street in your town/city. The street you have selected becomes your adopted vineyard before the Lord. Select a time of the week that is convenient for the two of you to spend one hour in a week on evangelism. Please do not go alone, utilize the wisdom of the Lord, (Luke 10: 1) He sent them out two by two.
  2. For the first three weeks, go to your street every week and do prayer walk. Intercede for every soul living on that street and pray for their salvation. Take authority over every satanic power and influence that hinders people from seeing the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 4: 4). Do this for the first three weeks.
  3. On the fourth week, begin to go from house to house with the message of the kingdom of God.
  4. The evangelism tools that you require can be downloaded free at We have over 50 different tracts titles covering various groups in the society. Simply copy the tracts that appeal to you and take to a printer. The tracts are free for you to copy.

If you prayed diligently for your “street”, when you commence evangelism, every soul will be quiet while you will be filled with boldness to proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God. Your prayers should not be restricted to the prayer walk. Continue to pray at your prayer altar at home.

Now, if a congregation has 500 adults, that congregation alone will cover 250 streets. Imagine the possibility of taking the gospel to every house in Nigeria within 3 months!

Let the revival begin!

So, what is the name of your street?

Please permit me to start by asking a question.

Which one is better, that God should kill the leader of Boko Haram or that he should become the modern day apostle Paul?

Which one will give God more glory, that the leader of Islam in Nigeria should succeed in getting amnesty for terrorists or that he should become a Deacon/Priest in your local assembly?

So, what are we waiting for? Let us pray all of them into the kingdom of God.

Let every Christian group or fellowship pick one “troublesome” leader of Islam, the more radical, the better, and concentrate prayers of salvation and divine visitation upon him. Pray until Jesus Christ appears to him or her. The last prayer of Stephen turned Saul from being the leader of Boko Haram in his days to Paul, the champion of Christianity. God can do it again and again if we would pray.

Do not be intimidated by the radicalism of any Muslim. There is no one that Christ cannot save. We should not forget that in prayers, we speak to God not to the Muslims and with our Father in heaven, all things are possible. We should remember that God has prophesied the conversion of the Middle East. Is. 19: 18-24.

Do not curse them, but bless them. Let the love of Christ in us overcome the hatred that is in the Muslims towards Christ and His church.

The Muslims have a vision of turning Nigeria into an Islamic nation. The vision they have is the original vision Jesus Christ gave to His church but the church became distracted and lost the vision. Let us recover what originally belongs to the church – that is the vision of “the knowledge of the glory of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.”

When power meets power, the lesser power must bow.

Rom. 12: 21 – Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Please permit me to share a true life story with you.

One of our senior brothers, a missionary, was on board a flight and he found himself seated beside a Lebanese Muslim. As he introduced himself as a Christian, the Lebanese picked interest in conversing with him.

“I contemplated becoming a Christian some time ago”, declared the Lebanese Muslim. In order to know more about Christianity, he started listening to Christian preachers on cable TV. After a few months of Christian diet, he decided to remain a Muslim.

“Aha”, proclaimed the Lebanese Muslim triumphantly, “while Islam teaches you to make heaven, Christianity teaches you how to get the best in this life.”

This is our problem, a perversion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Word of God makes it clear, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” 1 Cor. 15: 19

Unbelievers come to church and they think Christianity is only about prosperity and abundance. Meanwhile, it is only faith in Jesus Christ that guarantees eternal life. There is none other name under heaven  given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4: 12.

Therefore, there must be an immediate doctrinal shift in the church. The preaching of money gospel must cease and the Nigerian church must return to the message of the cross, the message of the good news of the kingdom of God; the message of repentance from sin leading to eternal life.

The clarion call in the church now must be “discipleship”! In the past 20 years, the Nigerian church has not been raising disciples. Rather, it has focused on raising millionaires. We are all witnesses of the unfortunate results of that distraction. There must be a deliberate doctrinal shift in the church. Mammon must be dethroned in the church while Christ must be enthroned in His rightful position as the Lord of all.

Christians have a role to play in checking pastors who insist on preaching the prosperity message. The emphases of the church must be on raising disciples. Particularly amongst the youths, the church must focus on discipleship. Or else, if we succeed in halting the aggression of Islam, we may still lose the next generation to entertainment, drugs and internet.

(May I recommend some books? BEWARE OF SUCCESS deals with the distraction of prosperity in the church, while RETURN TO THE NARROW PATH focuses on raising disciples including Bible Study teaching outline. All the books can be downloaded FREE at Ministries that have developed discipleship materials should please dust them and put them to active use. The church must urgently commence discipleship.

The issues surrounding persecution of Christians in the nation must not be hidden from Christian children. Pastors, Priests, Reverends, Prophets, must deliberately go to children’s church and explain these issues to the children. The Christian children and the Christian youths must be taught and trained to understand why they are Christians and why they must remain Christians. Please do not hide these issues from the children, the future belongs to them.

There must be a drastic doctrinal shift in the church.

Have you ever heard of Invercargill? It is a city in New Zealand called the “end of the earth”. Invercargill is the farthest distance on earth from Jerusalem. For that purpose, it is called the “end of the earth.”

From Invercargill, the end of the earth, Christians came to visit and support persecuted Christians in northern Nigeria. We travelled with them to Gombe and to Jos. Meanwhile, where are the Nigerian Christians?

It is embarrassing that God had to go outside Nigeria to get foreign Christians to support and sustain our persecuted brethren. Many of us refused to leave our comfort zones. It is time to repent.

The Voice of Christian Martyrs has been in the forefront of mobilizing support for the persecuted Christians in Nigeria and every Christian in Nigeria should join in reinforcing and sustaining Christianity in the North. It is the least that we could do for Jesus Christ.

Whatever support that you give through the Voice of Christian Martyrs shall faithfully reach the widows, the orphans, the fatherless, the surviving gospel workers and the brethren in the North. It is in our collective interest to reinforce Christianity in the North of Nigeria.

There is a support program of minimum N500.00 monthly donation to support the persecuted brethren. Interested believers could send their donations to: The Voice of Christian Martyrs, Zenith Bank, 10 13 48 26 09

Let us show the enemies of God that our brethren are not destitute of kinsmen.

It is imperative that churches commence mobilization of Christians to register and ensure that they vote during the election. Not only that, Christians must be trained to ensure that they vote for candidates and parties that will protect the interest of Christianity in the nation.

Let us commence deliberate training of Christians to be politically intelligent and discerning. If the church does not use its numerical size to put righteous people in governance, the instrument of the state shall be used against the church. Whenever unrighteous people come into power, they use their influence to undermine the church. Christians must be politically discerning.

For your kind consideration, please.

During my undergraduate years as a member of the Christian Union (CU), University of Benin from 1983 to 1987, I became privy to several Prophecies about God's Purpose for Nigeria. It was in CU that I first heard that Nigeria was Africa's Trigger. It was only recently that I learnt from one of my spiritual mentors (Bro. Oluyemi Esan Issachar) that the often-quoted statement was actually part of a Prophecy given by Pa S. G. Elton of blessed memory. He was said to have spoken the Word in 1983 during a Conference in Limuru, Kenya.

Let me paraphrase what Pa Elton was reported to have said: Africa is like a hand-gun turned downwards; Nigeria is the Trigger and South Africa is the Nozzle. He said that Africa's Rising would begin when what was then blocking the Nozzle is removed (APARTHEID IN SOUTH AFRICA).

Brethren, we know how God can pass over a generation if they are unwilling to cooperate with Him to achieve His Purpose. May we, like David, serve our generation according to the Will of God. Amen.

Obadiah 21 has become my favourite Scripture: "And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord's". [King James Version].

Someone said that the passage is a "Millennial Scripture" which would only be fulfilled when Jesus returns to earth and establishes His Kingdom reigning for 1,000 years. Maybe. But that Scripture is the reason why I am running for office to become the Senator representing the good people of Edo Central Senatorial District (Esanland) in 2015......if Jesus tarries and as God makes the Way.

It is time that Saviours, "Messiahs", Deliverers, Transformers, Nation-Builders, Repairers of the Breach, arise in Zion. Thank God for your life; your business; your job; your spouse; your children; your ministry; your Church; your house(s); your fame; your money; your dreams; your aspirations etc. But the Walls of Nigeria are fallen. How can you live in your "ceiled houses" at such a time as this? Why do you think BAD TREES will bring forth GOOD FRUIT as you stand aloof "praying" for God to raise leaders to salvage Nigeria? Of course, we must pray. What could we do without prayer? But prayer is not enough.

Peter asked Jesus concerning John: "What shall this man do?" And I ask you: What shall this man [YOU] do?

In the 1970s and 1980s, most Christians were deceived by satan into thinking God only wanted His Children saved, living holy and getting unbelievers saved while waiting to for the penury. In those days, it was rare to find Christians occupying any senior management position in the corporate world. Hardly any born-again Christian lived in Ikoyi, Victoria Island, "Government Reserved Areas" or such neighbourhoods considered as "highbrow" around the country. So we hard no Pentecostal Churches in such places! I still recall my fascination when a Christian sister (then called Bisola Andu) invited me to speak at a meeting of the Evangelism Team of her Church in 1994 in IKOYI. LOL!  I was excited that a Pentecostal Church was located in Ikoyi: Guiding Light Assembly. That was when I met Pastor Wale Adefarasin for the first time.

Things have changed for the Nigerian Church since then. Our Cathedrals are world-class now. Building Churches, owning houses and living in Banana Island, Ikoyi, Victoria Garden City, Lekki Phase One, Ikeja GRA, Maitama, Asokoro etc. are no more a big deal for believers. Well, praise God! We were delivered from a Poverty Mindset. In fact, the problemtoday is that many Christians now cannot tell the difference between True Kingdom Prosperity and MAMMON!

Just as satan locked out Christians from the market place in the past so he has done todayin the political sphere. Most Christians today still consider politics as "dirty", "corrupt", and "corrupting". So we pray that God would give us good governance with our "bad" leaders. We allow the campus cultists, thugs, dropouts, occultists, satanists, freemasons, paedophile, homosexuals, robbers, stammers, 419ners etc. to rule us. They are in our Legislative Assemblies. They are in the Executive arm of Government at all levels. And we are praying for them.

I learnt a new English word sometime ago: KAKISTOCRACY. Kakistocracy is the GOVERNMENT OF THE WORST OF THE PEOPLE.

I used to believe, like many Nigerians do, that the bane of our polity is Corruption and the lack of the Rule of Law. I know better now. Our problem is KAKISTOCRACY. Princes are walking while beggars are riding on horses. The tail is wagging the dog. The cart is trying to pull the horse! The worst among us are the ones "leading" us!! And this is nor just about seeking an elective office. It is about engaging politically as the LORD would reveal (or has revealed) to you.

What will this man (woman) do in 2015? What will YOU do in 2019, 2023, 2027? .......If Jesus tarries His Coming.

Why sit we here until we die?

GO YE......

God bless you.

God bless Nigeria.

Nigeria di fure!

Time To Declare State Of Emergency In The Church

A British Newspaper recently published a remarkable story of an interview with a terrorist who was complaining about the failure of Hamas of Gaza to do huge damage inside Israel, despite firing hundreds and hundreds of rockets and missiles at the Jewish people. He had a unique explanation: “Their God changes the path of our rockets in mid-air”. Nigerian Christian believers must know that our PRAYERS to God of Israel matter a lot! Israel is not just defended by the courageous men and women of the Israel Defence Force (IDF) and the Iron Dome Missile Defence System. Israel is defended by the unseen hands of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. That same God is the God of Nigeria. He is our Judge, our Lawgiver, our King and He is the one keeping Nigeria (Isa. 33:22). We should therefore never hold our peace day or night, nor keep silent. We will give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Nigeria a praise in the earth (Isa. 62:6-7). What I am about to share is an accumulated spiritual burden of almost two years now. And this has several confirmations from leading ministers and intercessors across Nigeria and beyond. This passage from the book of 2 kings 3:16-17 aptly captures and explains this burden. And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches (altars of prayers). For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. (2 kings 3:16-17) God is saying – if you can raise me fervent and sustained Prayer Altars all over this troubled nation, then get ready for an uncommon, sudden and supernatural intervention from My presence. This to me is very encouraging and promising. THE PRESENT DISTRESS On October 1, 1960, the day Nigeria formally came into existence, the late premier of the Northern Region, Sir Ahmadu Bello, made a statement whose import did not seem to sink in for a long time. On that day, as most Nigerians were busy celebrating their independence, the premier made a declaration that has continued to haunt the nation. He had said:

“The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great-grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use the minorities of the North as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over their future”. (Parrot Newspaper, 12th Oct. 1960; republished on November 13, 2002, by the Tribune Newspaper, Ibadan.)

Take this statement as the tap root of the religious war going on in Nigeria today (It is a religious and political war, make no mistake about it!). The fruit and the flower of this declaration can be deciphered in the stated declaration of Boko Haram, the terrorist group ravaging Nigeria. The mandate of Boko Haram, as declared by Abubakar Shekau, its leader, in a 2012 video recording now available on the Internet is clear and points inexorably to its inspirational source:

“… this [Boko Haram] war is not political.

The first statement is an unprovoked declaration of war without end on Nigeria from the very day of its birth and naming, as well as on the hopes of other religious groups, especially Christians. The second is the physical fulfillment of the evil tree planted on Nigeria’s day of independence. The statements, fully digested and interpreted, explain why Nigeria has continued to move from one small crisis to greater one, never getting it right. It is the reason why Nigeria is a case study in arrested destiny. More than anything else that anyone can say, these two statements define the very moment that Nigeria is currently in, and that definition has been conveyed to us through the mass murder of Christians across Nigerian history and in particular through the well-oiled and systematic genocide that has been ongoing in Nigeria since 2009.

Nigeria has fought one war or the other across time, but no war is as deadly as the one that has been declared against Nigerian Christians and, sadly, many whose destiny are affected by the war are blissfully ignorant. Hosea 4:6a says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”.

Since the violent eruption of the most deadly war on Christians in 2009, the Boko Haram war, several thousands of Christians have been murdered, hundreds of thousands have fled their home – many of them to Cameroun. The Internal Displaced Monitoring Centre (IDMC) says Nigeria has the third largest population of internally displaced persons in Africa (about 3.3 million) and the third highest in the world.

In all the countries of the world where beatings, abductions, rapes, arrests, and forced marriages are recorded, Nigeria takes the lead – even over countries like Syria that are officially at war. A Jihad has been declared against the Nigerian Church and what we do now or fail to do will determine if the Church of God will still be standing when Christ returns. It is worth repeating that there is an Islamic agenda against Nigeria which the Islamist groups are carrying out.

Over 27 communities have been sacked, its residents killed or driven into exile in Borno State. In one Damboa LGA alone, another 20 communities have suffered the same fate. When the leaders of a community report to the army for protection, men dressed in army colours would visit them promptly, gather them together and fell them in their hundreds with bullets. Nigeria is unprotected by its paid police and army. Every day, Christians are dying in their numbers and nothing is being done about it.

In December 1856, the Fulani Jihadists besieged Osogbo town. Twenty years earlier, they had over-run Ilorin and put the town firmly under their grip, but never had they ventured beyond Ilorin up till that time. An army led by Balogun Oderinlo was dispatched from Ibadan to rescue Osogbo from the Jihadists. After initial reconnaissance, Balogun Oderinlo discovered that he was up to no match with the rampaging Jihadists as they were mainly cavalrymen with very strong horses while the Ibadan army were on foot and the avenue for the war was plain savannah, which would have made them easy prey for the invaders.

During one night, he infiltrated the camp of the Jihadists and poisoned their horses. The rest was finished during the day, the Jihadists were roundly trounced, and their advance was forcefully stopped at Ikirun. Both Osogbo and Ikirun are in present day Osun State. Osun State was created in 1991 and twenty years after the creation, it is firmly in the grips of a man who not only is suspected of having sentiments for the fundamentalist brand of Islam but one who with Jeroboamic passion actually resurrected all the pantheon of idols that Christianity had succeeded in reducing their impact with the declaration of a public holiday for Isese Day, a festival for celebration of idolatry. At the same time, schools with a background of Christianity were forcefully merged with others under a policy called ‘reclassification’. Now, the same Osun State where the advancement of the Jihadists was halted over 150 years ago is now the fulcrum of not only a brand of radical Islam but also a resurrection of idolatry as they seek to penetrate the South West. Ritual killing has now assumed an alarming dimension, especially in the South West.

According to Wikipedia, Boko Haram has killed over 2,000 civilians in the first half of 2014 in about 95 attacks and in the preceding 3 years more than 3,000. Initially, there was an apathy on the part of most Southerners as we initially thought it was a ‘northern’ affair. Even at that, the reality that it was a brazen attack on the Church in a bid to totally extinguish Christianity was lost on us. In an article ‘Re-introducing Northern Nigeria’ by Mark Amaza, he wrote that of the 19 Northern states, at least 5 have a Christian majority - Plateau, Adamawa, Nassarawa, Taraba and Benue. At least 6 more have at least 40% Christian population. These states include Niger, Gombe, Kaduna, Kogi, Kwara and either Borno or Bauchi. That then leaves only Kano, Kebbi, Katsina, Jigawa, Sokoto, Yobe and Zamfara as having Muslim populations above 60%. According to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, over 750 churches have been burnt by Boko Haram.

However, the battle against Boko Haram would enter another gear with a twin bombing of targets in Apapa, Lagos on Wednesday June 25, 2014. With initial denials by the authorities, Boko Haram would later claim responsibility. Is Nigeria still truly part of the international community? Why then has the international community subtly taken the side of the aggressor? For a very long time America refused to designate Boko Haram a terrorist group until American interests became a target.

The international media have continued to fuel the fire by accusing the Nigerian military or blackmailing the government as the reason for the insurgence. Even Amnesty International conveniently betrayed its ethos by shamefacedly blaming the state and its agencies. Why would the international media and community want to take sides and overlook genocide in the north of Nigeria? Because they have sold themselves cheaply. Europe is being overrun by radical Islamic renaissance. America too is roasting in the same fire. The West is trying to court and not provoke Islam. The West is playing up PR tools, because it wants to continue its lifestyle that does not glorify God. Godlessness is ruling in the West; and it is impossible for the godless to lead a godly battle. Thus, the Western appeasement of the Islamic world is costing the poorer nations of the South, the international Christian community and even the natural state of Israel considerable harm. There is considerable evidence now in the public domain that America is the biggest funder of terrorism. Terrorists like Al Qaeda and even Boko Haram get the huge chunk of their funding from abduction. It is so easy the terrorists have labelled it their “low-hanging fruit”. Also, since WW2 (World War Two), America has poured over $5 billion dollars into Pakistan alone to help contain The Taliban and Al Qaeda, but the money goes expressly into funding Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups around the world. When America complains, Pakistan gets angry. The West shies from making the Arab nations angry, both individually and collectively. Self-preservation has thus made America and the West an ally of the terrorists they are fighting.

Where, then, do we turn to in this war of annihilation against Nigerian Christians? First, we need to turn back to God and turn back to ourselves. Every bloodshed that has taken place in this country against innocent people (Christians and Muslims alike) is an affront to the Almighty. It is a national sin from which no one or group is exempted before the throne of grace. We are, therefore, guilty of mass bloodshed as a nation. Our hands are vicariously full of the blood of our brothers and sisters shed by bestial religious fanatics. We all need to repent of this evil even though we and our Christian family are the victims. Nigerian Christians are double victims because they suffer the genocide and are yet made guilty vicariously. After repentance, we have work to do. IF NIGERIA IS A FREE NATION RULED UNDER A DEMOCRACY AND NOT A NATION OF SERFS, WE HAVE WORK TO DO BEFORE THE ELECTION OF 2015.

What to do:

1. Every Christian must be mobilized and educated about the real danger they face and so be constituted into a standing army of the faithful before the election. The battle before them is to come out and vote out any agenda or delegate of a cause that threatens their hope of peaceful and harmonious living. There is no law that says Christians cannot mobilize their group even for election. We have been too apologetic and the result is the pogrom we have allowed in the Church. We have a right to self-defence.

2. The Nigerian Christian community must decide collectively if they want to live to declare the glory of God (Psa. 116: 9) or to die, not according to God’s plan or will, but under the bullet of the enemy. If we choose life, then we must BARGAIN with our vote. For once, the Church must vote a government that will defend its freedom and corporate existence.

3. Before the election of 2015, the Church must begin the active campaign for COMMUNITY POLICING. The armed forces of Nigeria has failed and, from all indications, may continue to fail to protect the life and rights of Nigerian citizens in all the places of their abode. The solution is for people to take the protection of their lives more seriously. There are many more Nigerians than the army, the police and the Boko Haram put together. No insane force can defeat the people who stand guard over their lives and family. If government cannot do the first duty of governance, which is protect its people, then the people have a right to protect themselves. What is more, community policing has a double advantage: it is an effective solution for violent robbery as well as the mass murder going on in the country. America has shown that the only way to stop violent elements determined to kill is to undermine their confidence in their ability to solely impose terror. By 1964, and that’s quite a long time ago, there were over 4 million guns in ordinary American hands. That understanding by everyone is the reason why a group cannot take it upon itself to go on a killing spree. Isolated cases do happen, but not a network of terrorists expanding a hate project of killing en masse without check as is happening in Nigeria.

4. The youths of Nigeria are our wealth and everything must be done to defend them. It is no longer right, safe or wise to leave our youths without the ability to defend themselves militarily. From now on, Nigerian youths on the NYSC scheme must be given compulsory military training. That is what is done in all the civilized countries. Ultimately, every Nigerian should be trained to be his community peacekeeper. We cannot continue sending peacekeeping missions abroad when we have become the most insecure community on earth. Where is our sense of priority or rationalism?

5. From now on, the Nigerian Church should have a declared stand on the fate of the nation. The Church Fathers should get themselves and their fold into a strong advocacy on the fate of the nation. Nigeria is a blessed nation, but some people are determined to perpetuate a curse on it. The Church must return to the cause of the Cross and begin to work to enthrone righteousness and to decree the will of the Almighty. It is time for the Church leaders to declare a wholesale war over the multitude of evil that has kept Nigeria hostage and reduced our people – souls so precious to Christ that He came from heaven to die for them – to mere targets for some maniacs to waste.

6. It is barely six months to the election. THE CHURCH MUST DECLARE A STATE OF EMERGENCY OVER NIGERIA. ALL CHURCHES OF WHATEVER DENOMINATION SHOULD CLOSE DOWN THEIR PROGRAMMES AND TAKE UP A BATTLE CRY TO HEAVEN FOR NIGERIA AND THE CHURCH FOR THE NEXT THREE MONTHS. HEAVEN SHOULD HAVE NO OTHER PROGRAMME NOW UNTIL IT DELIVERS NIGERIA. This is the time for the Church to fight for the destiny of Nigeria. It is time to plead with the Mighty Man of War in heaven, for the God of the Church to take up the battle. This is what King Hezekiah did when his nation faced annihilation (2 Kgs. 19) and God gave him swift victory. How should the Church go about declaring the state of emergency of mobilizing several millions of believers to sustainable, fervent and importunate prayers for the survival of their faith and their nation?

There are clear Biblical patterns in several scriptures of the Bible. Joel 2:12-13 says: Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

It says further in Joel 2: 14-17: Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

If the Church unites to do this faithfully, the response of the Lord is sure, as declared in the same book of Joel 2: 18-19: Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people. Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

It has been predicted that unless Nigerian Christians take up the gauntlet and fight for their freedom now, Christianity may be wiped out in the country within the next forty years. This may sound incredible in some ears, but the systematic execution of the plan is what we are already seeing. To wipe out Christianity is to abort the destiny of Nigeria. But Nineveh preceded Nigeria. Nineveh was to be wiped out in exactly forty days and the prophet sent to it refused to go until he was imprisoned in the belly of the fish for three days.

What happened when he eventually went?

And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not (Jonah 3:1-10).

Again, in this passage, we see how God looked on the repentance of the people and forgave their sins and turned the calamity that was to befall them away. No matter how impending the doom, God can turn it away once He sees genuine repentance. Will the Church of Nigeria, the House of His Glory, bring collective and universal repentance to God today and He will not move on our behalf? How should the Church of God in Nigeria go to God in the three-month emergency?

We have another scriptural pattern in Lam. 2 14-16; 18-19: Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment. All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it (Lam. 2:14-16). Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease. Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street (Lam 2:18-19).

This passage tells how Zion, the joy of the whole world, became a reproach to all who knew it – just exactly as Nigeria has become reproach in the comity of nations. Zion had great destiny, but sin arrested it. Nigeria also has great destiny which sin is threatening to abort. If we do not cry to heaven for deliverance NOW, then we have surrendered the nation and future generations to the satanic plots over it. These Biblical examples show that the key to breaking the arm of Islamic agenda over Nigeria and restoring the country to its rightful destiny (a double advantage) is to go back to the Author of the Universe in repentance and supplication to restore, reinstate, re-establish, impose, consolidate and render immutable His original plan for Nigeria and His Church. Our God is waiting. He has been waiting since 1914. He has been waiting since October 1, 1960, when the spiritual manipulation of Nigeria’s destiny became a desperate politico-spiritual agenda of the enemies of the Church. Our God is on His throne waiting. Are we ready to meet Him in sobriety and supplication? Is the Church ready?

7. In view of these copious examples, the Church should arise and declare a three-month emergency. Within this initial 3-month period, let all Christian Churches virtually convert all their Sunday services and mid-week meetings to fervent and agonizing prayer, supplication and intercessory sessions to the God of heaven for His merciful help. This action will sound an alarm in heaven that the Church means business. All the congregation of God, as a united force, should turn to Him in repentance and mourning for the sin of the nation and seek His face in repentance. With three months of purposeful, heart-felt, desperate and collective prayers, God might turn the tide against the foe and bring deliverance. Time is ticking and the time to act is now. The more we delay, the more souls will perish needlessly. The enemy has declared the emergency, we have to take the battle to its gates and remove the evil from our land.

8. If anyone thinks this is a false alarm, remember Syria, Turkey, the whole region of the Asia Minor and much of the present-day Middle East. They were all Christian communities. They were the territories traversed by Paul in his missionary journeys. Great, effective and flourishing Churches were planted in these places by the early disciples, apostles and missionaries. Today, the envelope of darkness covers them all because they failed to heed the warning. The alarm has been sounded. Christ’s command stands for all time. What he is saying to His Church in these perilous times is the same thing He has said before: Watch and pray!

9. Finally, we must remember God’s open-door promise anticipated whatever we may be going through as a nation. Said He: "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land" ( 2 Chro.7:14). It is time for the church to awake from its slumber and defend its heritage! Delegating some ‘prayer specialists’ or intercessors as we are called to do this prayer work has not worked, nor has it produced the desired result for Nigeria. The situation on ground now demands the total involvement and commitment of the corporate Church in Nigeria. The Church in Nigeria must become one territorial Church in this matter. Thus we shall be fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 56:7, in becoming God’s House of Prayer for our nation, and the nations of the world. Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people (Isa. 56:7).

10. In all these things, we must never despair nor lose hope and faith. Our God is on the throne. His redemptive purpose, prophetic agenda and covenant promises over our nation are our weapons for this battle. Let us in penitent and tearful intercession remind Jehovah of all the profound things He has said over our nation, and plead with Him to, in-keeping with His nature, fulfil with His mighty hands, what has proceeded out of His mouth in righteousness. Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it (Isa. 46:9-11). I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory (Isa. 46:13).

In 1996, I was in Russia for some meetings with the Russian church. We flew to Ukraine and I was with Pastor Sunday Adelaja for one week of Prayer School in Kiev. Several former Communists leaders were there en masse because they were hungry for God. There was this Russia General Superintendent of a denomination with several churches all over Russia. He was a former KGB (secret police) officer who had killed many Christian pastors, but now a minister of God. This miracle happened after ex-Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev had brought reformation that dismantled Communism.

At this time, American evangelists were coming to Russia in large numbers for evangelism. These Russians had been denied access to the Bible for seventy years. Now they were hungry for the Word of God and Bibles were being sent to them in millions. This ex-KGB now turned denominational superintendent grew very fast in the faith after his salvation.

It was time for the general elections and the incumbent president, Boris Yelsin, a drunkard, was performing dismally. The people at the top took over the businesses of the land and the country was left impoverished. Army officers were hungry and army captains could be seen beside the road begging for alms because salaries were unpaid. It was now the election time and Yelsin was campaigning to come back for another five years. He had a strong opposition in a Communist candidate called Gennandy Yugannov who reminded the electorates of the ‘glorious days of Communism’ and encouraged a return to communism.

Yugannov campaigned much against democracy and the opinion pool seemed to favour him. In the opinion poll conducted, those who wanted Communism to come back were 65-70%! Democracy of Yelsin took 20% and other parties 5%. With the result of the opinion poll, those in favour of Western democracy became afraid and desperate. Churches were packing up and American pastors who were in Russia started handing over their churches to the indigenes and preparing to return home.

One of these evangelists that came to establish churches handed over to the former KGB officer who was now a Christian leader as the General Superintendent. I was in one of the man’s churches to preach in the heat of all these where spoke on ‘the Role of Intercessory Altars in National Salvation’. For almost two hours of my speech, thousands of Russians listened to me and began praying, and weeping.

I said, “I challenge you to raise national prayer altars everywhere and communism will be soundly defeated”. The communist candidate had threatened that as soon as the communists come back to power, they would close down all churches and nationalize all companies again.

I admonished, “Let every Sunday meeting be turned into praying altars, including mid-week meetings. No more sermons, if you don’t want to go back to the dark days of communism, let there be a cry on every altar, ‘O Lord save Russia from return to the communist era…”

After my message, the Bishop took the microphone and said, “I make a covenant before God with God’s people in this country, I am going to shut down my Sunday services and turn them to prayer meetings for the nation of Russia. I will get other pastors and General Superintendents all over Russia to start prayer altars across the nation for national salvation and deliverance. Communism must never come again.”

I left Russia for Ukraine, and the Russian church started this prayer altar to pray across the length and breadth of Russia – cries of deliverance. When the election came, Boris Yetsin and the Democratic Party won by a landslide victory – 75% of the votes! God overturned the calculations of the communists. The national corporate altar prevailed.

God can do this in Nigeria; He can overturn the calculations of the enemies of the Church.

Prayer Appeal: Before it is too Late!

I am sending out an appeal to all Christians to please, pray for President Jonathan. Please do not be angry.

Let us put our emotions aside and pray based on principle that God commands us to pray for “kings and for all that are in authority”.

We may not fully understand why the President takes decisions (or fails to take decisions) as he does, but, considering the barrage of incantations, enchantments, sorcery, invocations of evil and spells projected at him, it is a miracle that the man is still alive.

I heard from a reliable source today, that the people on the other side held a meeting a few days ago to plan how to get rid of him, using every means possible. A particular traditional ruler donated N50m, and others too made similar donations. Their current plan is to do massive rituals that will involve burying live animals in 17 different places all over the nation.

Only the church can break their spells. Unfortunately, many Christians are too upset with the President that he is not acting decisively. Permit me to ask, if you were the one facing this barrage of spells and enchantments, how would you have performed?

Please pray. We may not understand why, but God did not make a mistake in making Goodluck Jonathan president of Nigeria. Our duty is to sustain him with prayers in obedience to the Word of God.

If we fail in our responsibility to pray for him as God commands, then we cannot complain that he has failed in his responsibility of providing decisive leadership for the nation. Let us do our part in obedience to God.

Before it is too late, mobilize prayers for the President.

God bless you.

Your brother,

The Truth

BRACE YOURSELF: Is The Black Horse Released?

I am aware that when it comes to the issue of end times, Christians  have differing views on the timing of rapture and tribulation. Some believe on pre-tribulation rapture, some on post-tribulation and some believe mid-tribulation rapture. My objective is not to start a discourse on which view is scripturally correct, when God has done what He wants to do, we shall all see what He has done.

My objective is to trumpet the command of Jesus Christ, WATCH AND PRAY. Please, WATCH AND PRAY!

Sometime last year, Sis. Ngozi shared with me a revelation she had in which she heard clearly, “The Red Horse has been released”.

She found “the red horse” in Rev. 6: 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

If we observe global events carefully, men have been killing one another. From Boko Haram and Fulani insurgents in Nigeria to ISIS in the Middle East, Russian forces in Ukraine, Taliban, Al Shaabab in Central Africa, Syria, Egypt, Libya, and so on, blood has been flowing all over the world.

What follows the red horse should be of concern to us.

5     And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

6        And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Rev. 6: 5-6

His Grace, Bishop Bagobiri shared with me a revelation a few days ago that he saw a terrible famine hit the nation. The famine he saw was so severe that even dogs started looking at people as food. Even for the dogs, there was nothing for them to eat! Now, Bishop is not a man given to emotions or sensation so, if he told you that he was frightened by the revelation, you better believe him.

For me, it just tied up two separate events. In our last edition of Karis Christian Magazine, we devoted a whole page to only one headline: FOOD CRISIS LOOMS! Why? Most Nigerian farmers in the South have stopped cultivating food crops in favor of Cannabis Sativa (Indian Hemp), because of its profitability. That is why food has been coming from the North to the South.

Now in the North, particularly in the North East and parts of the food basket in the North Central, most farmers have stopped going to the farm because of the fear of Boko Haram.

So, what follows? The Black Horse! Brace yourself and get ready.

Now, the solution is not in stockpiling food. How much  food can you stockpile and where will you keep it? The  solution is to get closer to God in repentance and righteousness. Now is the time to be a Christian in word and in deed. There is no time to pretend anymore or play church. God already spoke through Pastor Matutis in Germany (in first edition of Karis Christian Magazine) that famine will come but His children should NOT be afraid as He would provide for them and sustain them.

If indeed the Black Horse has been released, only those who are faithful to God shall survive it.

I pray that you will be counted worthy to be one of them.

These are interesting times indeed. It looks like heaven is using every available means to announce to discerning people that times have changed.
In April this year, we witnessed the phenomenon known as the blood moon.

A blood moon occurs when the earth comes between the sun and the moon. As the sun is shining through the atmosphere of the earth and casts up on the moon a red shadow making the moon to appear completely red. For the blood moons to occur in series as it will between 2014 and 2015 is very rare indeed. Each time it has occurred in that way in Israel’s feast days, events have happened that had tremendous impact on world history. (For the spiritual significance of this phenomenon, see scriptures like Gen.1:14-16; Jl.2:30-31; Matt.24:29-31).

This year’s blood moon which happened on Israel’s Passover in April is the first of four such occurrences that will happen in the next 4 years. The next one expected to occur in September 2014 will happen on the Feast of Tabernacles. This cycle will be repeated in 2015 and will follow the same pattern.

If we go back in history, we will see that each time this has happened, some historical events took place in relation to Israel which had an impact on human direction and history. At first, those events will be harsh to Israel, but God always turns it around for their good.  A few examples will do:

-       1492: Spain expelled the Jews: Columbus also discovered America which became a safe haven for Jewish people.

-       1948: Israel was born as a nation. This followed the holocaust and massacre of the Jews under Hitler’s Germany. God supernaturally brought the Israelites from 66 nations and a nation was born in one day as prophesied by Isaiah (see Is.66:7-8).

-       1967: Israel won the six day war and re-captured Jerusalem. For the first time in 2000 years, Jerusalem and the State of Israel were together again. To appreciate the importance, see Psalm102:16, which says that the Lord will return in glory when He rebuilds Zion.

For some time now, the Hebraic Calendar have been in agreement with the Gregorian calendar. Today, Tuesday, 27th May is Iyar 27 in the Jewish calendar. The month of Iyar is dedicated to Issachar. We know that Issachar is associated with understanding the times (See 1Chr.12.32).
Could it be that the Lord is telling us through all these coincidences to pay attention to the times?
Let me reduce the scope by focusing on Nigeria and Nigerians:

JEHOVAH, the creator of the heavens and the earth deals with nation states in seasons (See Dt.32:8-9; Acts 17:24-26).
The Lord shifts His attention on particular nations states at different times following an eternal calendar whereby He works out His purposes following His pre-determined counsel. At different times, different nations have been on the spotlight. From Eden where it all started, his spotlight has moved to Europe giving rise to Giant nations like Spain, UK, and France. In recent times, the spotlight has been on America giving the nation a kind of prominence and influence which may be unparalleled in modern history. America excelled because apart from being an economic and military power, the Altar of God and His Throne was once resident in the nation on account of the Covenant of the founding fathers of the nation (Google historical documents like the Mayflower Compact).
Presently, God's Altar and Throne has moved to Nigeria. Our nation has God's mandate to kick-start the revival that will lead to Christ's return in glory. Hells horde and hells gate are also shifting attention to Nigeria on account of this purpose. That is what Boko Haram, Chibok and the international focus on Nigeria are about. You will recall that two weeks ago, some of the most prominent nations on earth were scrambling to offer assistance to Nigeria. These included China, USA, Canada, France, Britain, Some EU Nations and most importantly the State of Israel. Forget about the circumstances that brought them to Nigeria, the important thing is that they are gathering and they are focusing on Nigeria following God’s eternal counsel.

The Covenant of God with the founding fathers of faith in Nigeria including Bro. Babalola, the Apostle and founder of CAC Churches and Pa Elton, the Apostle to Nigeria and formerly of the Apostolic Faith (all of blessed memory) is that God will use our Nation in the end times for His glory. God has continued to say so to all the men He has raised from Nigeria who continued to walk with Him.

In the battle for the earth, the one who makes the most sacrifice wins. The enemies of God are making blood sacrifices through violence, orgies and ritual killing to build Thrones of iniquity to strengthen the altars they are raising to Molech in pursuit of political and economic power (See Ps.94:20-21).

As Christians we must see the spiritual side of this conflict and respond in kind. The conflict is NOT physical but spiritual and only men with spiritual weapons whose hands have been trained for war can be of help. Blaming President Jonathan and talking him down will not help us. The Throne he is occupying was given to him by God and the same God has the ability to take the Throne from him when he is through with him. If God could show you the level of sorcery and witch crafting that is directed against him and his family, you will marvel that he is still standing due to the grace of God.

In the next part, I will mention three things that will help our evaluation and in doing so I will talk straight: I will by the grace of God take on the seemingly difficult question of what God is saying concerning President Jonathan and 2015. In taking on this subject, I will talk straight as the Lord has spoken to me, and once the Lord has spoken, I am NEVER afraid intimidated to speak.

In Christ,

(Note: By the Lord’s direction, my name has changed from Tony Ezeh to Isaac Chibueze. More details later.)

I started this article last two weeks and promised to mention three facts that would help our evaluation of the present situation in the world, but more particularly, Nigeria. I want to keep that promise. I have received many mails and telephone calls from sincere brethren asking what the Lord is saying and why all these are happening to us now in spite of much prayers and cries.

In the 87th Psalm, the psalmist makes reference to two cities – Zion and Babylon. About Zion he said: “Glorious things are written of thee O city of God.” (Ps.87:3). Concerning Babylon and other cities whose foundations were not in God it is written: “I will make mention of Rahab (Egypt) and Babylon to them that know me. Behold Philistia and Tyre with Ethiopia, this man was born there.” (Ps.87:4). So who is the man that was born in the other cities whose foundations were not in God? Scripture gives us the answer in Gen.10.8-11: “And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. 10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.2  11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah.”

Nimrod, an African was the first monarch and city builder on earth. If you do a study of the nature of cities that Nimrod built especially Babylon, Egypt and by extension Africa, you will find that they were cities associated with idolatry, blood rituals and total dedication to Satan. Nimrod was in fact the first man that entered into a Covenant with Satan to raise sons for Satan who later became deities or gods through the working of mystery of iniquity. We know from history that his mother Semiramis had a negative influence on him. She killed her husband Cush and married her own son and through them Satan had sons that he raised into gods that are worshipped across the nations till today.

In Genesis Chapter 2, God discloses His eternal plan for blessing the nations of the world. The Scripture states that a river originated from Eden (God’s presence) and parted into four heads to water the whole earth. Two of the rivers Tigris and Euphrates both in the Middle east are known because till today, they retain the same biblical names. However, not much is known about the other two rivers, Pison and Gihon.

“The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; 12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. 13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.” (Gen.2:10-11)

River Gihon is present day Nile River. Some ancient Ethiopian bibles confirm this. The Nile River originates from a spring in Jinja, Uganda and flows both right and left. To the right it forms one of the richest Lakes in the world called Lake Victoria that covers four nations including Kenya, Tanzania and Burundi. To the left it flows from South to North (The only river in the world that flows that way), covering eleven nations up to Ethiopia and Sudan before terminating in Egypt.

River Pison on the other hand is present day Niger River. The Niger River has its source in the Fouta Djalon mountains in Guinea, near the Sierra Leonian boader. It passes through Mali, Niger, Benin Republic and then Nigeria where it runs a long course through Lokoja, Onitsha, Asaba before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean through one of the richest deltas in the world known as the Niger Delta.

The nations compassed through these biblical rivers have the potential to become the wealthiest nations on earth. Notice that the bible associates the land of Havilah with not just gold but good gold with other precious stones. The word Havilah associated with River Pison simply means the land of Blacks or the land of Africa.

Instead of wealth which is God’s original purpose for the land of Africa, what does these nations have in common? From Sudan, to Ethiopia to Mali and then to Egypt and Nigeria, it is a story of wars, famine, devastation, slavery and much suffering in the midst of plenty.

We recently returned from a missionary trip to Uganda and Kenya. In Uganda, the people are servants to Asians and Arabs who live in the best part of the city while the owners of the land live in Ghetos and slums. As we entered Kenya, the Lord said to me, you have entered the land of beggars, begging for aid in the midst of plenty. Uganda and Kenya have one of the best vegetation and weather in the world. The resources from Lake Victoria alone can feed the nations of the world not to talk of the mineral resources in the land. The Lord said to us to show to the Pastors the issues and to preach to them, the Gospel of the Kingdom. Through the preaching of the full Gospel, He would be able to raise sons who can offer repentance for idolatry and confront the gods of the Asians that they have enthroned in the land through whom they enslave the people. Funny enough, right at the source of the Nile River in Jinja, Uganda; an altar is raised to Mahatma Ghandi and his ash (from the cremation of his body) was poured into the source of the Nile when he died. Indian businesses in that area maintain the altar and perform annual rituals in that site renewing the covenants that make them lord over the land. The bible says that all nations will trade and do business in the name (power) of their gods. See Mic.4:5.

To see the implications of Nimrod’s legacy, and to understand the seemingly harsh judgments of God especially on Africa, in response to idolatry, we only have to look at the Nineteenth Chapter of the Book of  Isaiah.

I did a study some time ago as the Lord prompted me and I am including my conclusions. Please study Isaiah 19 prayerfully and see if you arrive at a different conclusion.

  1.        Africa presented as the bastion of idolatry and the initial foothold of Satan on earth. (This is Nimrod’s legacy) See Ezk.28:13-14; Ezk.29:2-3. Satan employed Leviathan, the strongest angel that joined the rebellion against God to guard Africa which is his foothold on earth. This affront is offensive to God who as El-Elyon is the possessor of heaven and earth. (Is.19:1). The Leviathan spirit is the spirit that promoted strife and civil war in Sudan for over twenty years and is now trying to rear up its head in Nigeria. The Leviathan spirit is the spirit that Satan used to colonise the Nile (Ezk.29:3). If he is the spirit of the Nile, he is also the rogue spirit of the Niger, only that in the Niger he is joined by Mammon, another wicked spirit through whom Satan works on human legs on earth. (Please see my book, the Days of the Black Horse Rider).
  2.       God’s response in judgment: Is.19:22
    1.                     Judgment of wars and desolations (Is.19:2). There are more than 500 active conflicts going on in various parts of Africa today.
    2.                   Judgment by wicked rulers (Is.19:4) Remember the Abachas, Babangidas, Buharis and Idaigbons. Remember also the Idi Amins, Milton Obotes and Mobutu Sese Sekous of Africa.
    3.                 Judgment by confused counselors and advisors (Is.19:3, 11-13, 14): Too numerous to recount. Go through our history of policy reversals that have left us with a plethora of abandoned and white elephant projects etc. Remember the Ajaokuta steel complexes, Operation feed the nation, Green revolution and the various River Basin Development Authorities with numerous abandoned and comatose dams and unfinished projects.
    4.                  Judgment on Africa’s seas which is leviathan’s bed (Is.19:5-6). This one is a whole book but just a sample. Why can’t we produce enough fish from our seas to feed a nation, when a small country like Norway with one hundredth of our hydro resources are exporting stock fish to us. Lake Victoria alone can supply the worlds need in fishery but Ugandans and Kenyans are relying on handouts from so called International Donors to finance their budgets. The so called Donors are in turn giving conditions that the nation must defile herself by swallowing the homosexual and deviant behaviour pill. Is this not blindness and the outworking of a curse? Thank God Nigeria took the lead in this matter to show other nations the way. Thank God for people like David Mark and his colleagues in the National Assembly. If you see God bless and promote David Mark tomorrow, just remember that he has entered God’s book of commendation. Sometimes in dealing with peoples and nations, God can overlook a multitude of failures on account of one good deed. I believe that this nature of God is one reason why people like Babangida are still breathing. Remember, at a critical time when Israel needed our friendship, he restored diplomatic relations between Israel and Nigeria.
    5.                    Judgment on Africa’s resources (Is.19:7-8)
    6.                  Desolation of industries (Is.19:9-10). Just walk through our industrial complexes and see the carcasses of dead industrial concerns. We are the only Oil producing country in the whole world that cannot refine what we produce. This is in the twenty first century when some rogues are refining Petrol in their back yards. Where are the Biafran Scientists that refined fuel for the poorly equipped Biafran Army and built grenades from scrap metals? They are all in foreign lands making things happen for other nations while our resources are stolen blatantly. Is it not a Nigerian that gave away Ajaokuta Steel Company to some cruel task masters from India who in turn started stripping the assets and exporting them abroad? Were there not custom and Immigration people at the Ports when this robbery was going on?
    7.                Pollution of the environment as a result of merciless oil exploration by the sons of Japheth. Go to the Niger Delta areas and you could cry. Our so called International partners commit on our lands some atrocities they could never think of committing on their own soil. Because we are lawless ourselves, they settle a few individuals who have sold their soul to Mammon and they break all the rules here. The result is devaluation, devastation and degradation of our environment. But there is hope, on account of God’s mercy, His love, His holy word and His eternal purpose.
    8.       An eleventh hour re-awakening following:
      1.                     Sacrifices by the spiritual sons of Japheth (Missionaries from Europe). Even though Europeans have largely turned their back on God, on account of the material blessings they have enjoyed due to God’s goodness and the prophetic blessing of Noah on Japheth (Gen.9:27); yet God remembers the sacrifice of the European missionaries that traversed the whole earth preaching the gospel. Yes some had the wrong motive, but they did the job. Can you imagine what would have become of Africa if the missionaries did not come? Maybe we would have annihilated ourselves through inter-tribal wars and communal clashes.
      2.                   A cry by the Issachar sons of Africa (See Is.19:17-18, 20). “And it will be for a sign and for a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt, for they will cry to the Lord because of the oppressors, and He will send them a saviour and a mighty one and He will deliver them” (Is.19:20) People of prayer have cried from Africa on account of the devastation. God has collected the prayers in His bottle and He will yet visit Africa in mercy when He pours back the answers upon the land of Africa. It will be like spring rain after a long season of dryness.
      3.                 A Covenant by Africa to sacrifice all to carry God’s Spirit to fulfill Matt.24:14 as symbolized by the erection of the Altar in Is.19:19. While in Kenya in April, the Lord opened my eyes to see the spiritual map of Africa and I saw some nations particularly Nigeria, Uganda and Kenya. I saw Nigeria represented in a hill. In that hill, two streams were flowing. There was a pure stream that was flowing from the top of the hill and another stream flowing from the middle of the hill. I had understanding of the Vision. The pure stream represented an Altar rooted in the Holy of holies from where pure worship and pure undiluted Word of God emerged birthing the eternal purposes of God in purity even though a corrupted stream was still flowing from the middle area. However, in the other nations that I was shown, this pure stream had not broken forth at the top and the two streams flowing were from the lower area where this corruption in content was much and the challenge against it was weak. I understood that part of Nigeria’s assignment was to help these other nations to crack a hole on the top area of the mountain so that this pure stream will pour forth as it was doing in Nigeria. Eventually, it is this pure stream that will swallow the mixed stream. I think scientists call the process beheading.
    9.       A Gospel Highway that will be like a river that will flow from Africa following the cross position and touching the four ends of the earth. Is.19:23
    10.       A new alliance between Israel and Africa that will lead to blessings on the continent. (Is.19:24). President Jonathan was in the will of God when he led most of his cabinet members to repent and renew relations with Israel. That act alone earned him some credit before the Lord which will come handy at a period of most need in his life. I suspect that period is near upon him.

See the wisdom of God: just like Jesus’ parents were warned in a dream to hide the saviour on African soil when his life was threatened by the sons of Japheth (materialism), even so, God has hidden the seed of the true word of God with a faithful remnant in Africa. That word has germinated and in this period where truth is threatened again by Japheth and his offspring’s including the religious spirit, truth will spring forth from Africa and water thirsty nations. Nigeria and South Africa are destined to lead that effort.

God must judge iniquity especially idolatry and wickedness. If He does not judge sin, then He must repent and apologise to Sodom and Ghomorrah, Babylon, Assyria and other nations that He brought down on account of sin. He would also have to apologise to His people Israel for the harsh way He has visited their iniquity and sending them to exile to the ends of the earth. This is the word of the Lord: “And it shall be If they refuse to take the cup (of judgment) from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, you shall certainly drink: For behold I begin to bring calamity on the city which is called by My name and should you be utterly un-punished? You shall not be unpunished, for I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth.” (Jer.25:28-29). Notice the absolute tenses used in this passage, ‘shall,’ and ‘certainly;’ not ‘maybe.’

We are currently passing through a phase of God’s cleansing judgment on idolatry and rebellion. The Lord has consistently given this message that the foundation of our nation which is on idolatry, Mammon and Leviathan (pride and self-will) cannot carry His eternal purpose for our nation. To redeem that purpose, He will pass through our land in judgment before restoring Nigeria to glory. I want to re-cap some messages that the Lord has used us to pass along this line. Those who are on my mailing list can attest that these warnings have been consistent since 2009.

  1. a)       The Lord will remember our iniquities as a nation for seven years, from 2011 to 2018. Let me quote from Chapter 20 (the closing notes) of my book, The Days of the Black Horse Rider. “I have made repeated references to the year 2011 so much that you may be wandering, what is Brother Tony saying about 2011? I want to tell you that it is deliberate. I tell you once again, that the judgment hand of God is raised against Nigeria and we will start feeling the impact from the year 2011.” (See Pg.207 BHR)

“Nigeria’s foundation is laid in idolatry. Even the name given to the country (Nigeria) is a foundation that enables the god Leviathan whom Flora Laggard was serving to institutionalize some things in your nation and those things must be uprooted and a fresh foundation laid before your nation can have a chance to begin to stand. When you uproot a foundation that is carrying a huge structure that has become rotten, there is bound to be a crash and a crash will affect things at all levels. Warn My people. I will judge your national sin of idolatry. Many of those covenanted to Satan through the queen of heaven will be cut down…”(See Pg.210, BHR. 2011 Plummet Missions).

  1.       The Role of the Church and the Failure of the Nigerian Church: Towards the end of 2011, the Lord began to give us the burden that the Nigerian Church was not rising to the occasion. The Lord caused me to publish His word to selected leaders with a warning that judgment was now certain, because the Church was not playing its role fully. The Church failed God in that our missionary missions were not biblical missions. For example, when we go to the Northern states and other nations of the world, we plant our ‘denominations’ instead of The Church. Our motives in planting those Churches are not truly to extend the kingdom of God, but instead to expand our frontiers and personal kingdoms and create tributaries through which tithes and offerings are funneled back to us. To see the discredit that this wickedness does to the name of Christ, you only have to go on missions to any African nation. In Kenya, we were first greeted with hostility, suspicion and indifference. By the time we started sharing the true word of God, and we had taught for about 4 days, paying our bills and giving them materials without asking for any offering, the attitude began to change. The Pastor leading the Pentecostal churches in Mombassa confessed later that they initially taught that it was the usual Nigerian exploitative Pastors and scam and they had warned their people not to attend. By the last day of the meeting, the whole space was taken and they had this confession about Nigeria: ‘When you meet a good Nigerian, he is thoroughly good, but when you meet a bad Nigerian, he is thoroughly and truly bad. In the end, they were begging us to bless us in return. If Nigeria does not arise, Africa will NEVER arise and God’s purpose would be further delayed. Which nation in the world would represent God now? Is it America that has lost its authority before God, or Europe that is now exporting anti God culture? What do you think the gay movement is about? The standard that the Lord is raising now for mankind is this ancient issue on account of which God has judged some nations severely as a warning that He would pass the same judgment on any nation that chooses the same part. (See Jude 6-8; Gen.6:3-7, 11-12; Gen.19:4-6, 24-25; judg.19:22).

This failure to plant the true Church when we go out in His name is a serious issue before God. If we supported missionaries that the Lord has called to the North, even from among this corps of suicide bombers ravaging the land today, God would have raised himself an army of militant Pastors, Evangelists and Prophets that will have what it takes to stand for the land of the North. I believe the Lord wanted to dramatise this failure when He asked me in 2011 to write to selected Church leaders in Nigeria and ask them to send missionaries to the North East. I obeyed the Lord, but I don’t know how many of the leaders even asked the Lord whether He was the one that sent me. I later published and circulated the word the Lord gave me as ‘Word to the Leaders of Nigeria 2011. (Check your archives if you are on my mailing list).

PUBLIC PRONOUNCEMENT: By the end of 2011, the Lord sent us to go and pray in Ogun State and perform some prophetic acts. At the same time, I had an invitation to speak at the Yearly Convention of Women Intercessors in Abeokuta. The Lord asked me to declare His seven year judgments concerning our nation publicly at that meeting of praying women which I did. (There is a recording of this, and if you are interested, we can make it available to you).

The reality is that most of what we see happening in Nigeria today are things the Lord has allowed to expose our weak foundations and bring us to the point of true repentance.  This judgmental dealings of God will increase progressively until we come to the point where we put away our religious coverings and truly seek God. The terminal point that God designated is 2018, but I believe we can shorten the period if we truly seek God, turn from our wicked ways and pray with knowledge according to the will of God (See 2Chr.7:14 and Pg.133-156 of my Book, the Days of the Black Horse Rider). In the midst of the judgments and seeming chaos, God is truly working out His eternal purpose for our nation.

America became the leader of the world through God’s favour and mandate on account of two things done by the founding fathers of the nation.

Firstly, America’s founding fathers made a covenant with God dedicating their land to the God of Heaven and the earth (Google the Mayflower Compact and other such documents). America’s constitution with its enshrined liberties and the protection of the freedom of worship are based on Bible Values.

Secondly, the founding fathers of America realized that the one sure way of securing God’s blessing over their land was to be a blessing to the nation of Israel. (See Gen.12:1-3; Ps.122:6). America was built on this foundation. Christopher Columbus discovered the land in 1492, after the Spaniards expelled Jews from their nation. America became a land of resettlement for the Jews who were fleeing the persecution in Europe. Spain began to shrink from being a world empire after that act and many years later, when Britain betrayed the Jews especially in 1948, it  also shrank from controlling almost one half of the world and became restricted to a small Island in Europe. America as a nation has always supported Israel until recently.

As America started turning away from God, gradually it lost sight of its heritage and its vision. It also lost sight of God who had made them great.

Once a nation deserts God and turns away from God, God will send warnings through prophets pleading to the nation to repent. From pleading God will turn to warnings and once the warnings are not heeded, God will have no option but to leave the land. If it is a nation where God has established His Throne, he will simply relocate His Throne to another nation where the conditions are more favourable. America has gone through this cycle. I believe that somehow, America as a nation became a victim of its success. The Church itself after a long period of prosperity fell asleep and allowed a shift in doctrine. From the true teaching of the word of God, a shift occurred to the more convenient form of motivational prosperity preaching and marketing strategies which became a bane of the Church. America eventually used its influence to start exporting this to the world through its numerous TV Channels, Bible schools and Schools of Theology. As the Church was entrapped in this reverie, the enemy through The New Age movement, Illumaniti and other satanic foundations were following a well thought out plan conceived in the chambers of hell to force God to remove His throne from the land. Firstly, they started fighting to stop prayers and teaching of the word of God in public schools and institutions. They were allowed to succeed. Then they fought to remove Christian symbols from public places, they succeeded. Then they went after power and seized control in government almost at all levels. Now the policy makers in America are men that you do not now their stand on anything. You don’t even know whether they are Christians or Muslims or whether they believe in anything. For the first time in history, the American President public supported the gay movement, and started formulating policies to export this obnoxious policy and to force it on other nations using American might and money as leverage. It is common knowledge also that the American government has all but become openly hostile to Israel. What can God do in the circumstances?

Hear now the word of the Lord concerning America:

  1.       The Lord will NEVER completely forsake America because of His Covenant with the fathers. “I am a Covenant making and Covenant keeping God saith the Lord. For the sake of the remnant that understand the times, whose eyes are open and who are lying prostrate pleading and weeping for their nation and asking me to overlook their folly in rejecting me, I will yet return to America.
  2.       My justice demands that I judge your national sin of arrogance, pride and misuse of power. You have not asked me in recent times why I gave you much influence and increased you in my might so much that other nations tremble at the mention of your name.
  3.       As you have started misusing your might and power, I will also hit the source of your might and whittle down your power severely, that you will not be able to export evil at will.”

My understanding is that financial judgment on America which has started will increase progressively until America lacks the capacity to use the so called aids as a means to lure the nations to embrace evil especially the evil of sodomy and homosexuality.

America, Europe, China and the rest of the world that are scrambling to Nigeria to divide the land according to their interests are being set up for a big disappointment. God has allowed the Chibok incident among others as a weapon to gather the nations to Nigeria. The thoughts of their heart is, ‘let us do in Nigeria as we have done in Iraq, in Libya, in Egypt and other nations and in so doing gather much spoil for ourselves.’ They do not know that there is a difference between Nigeria and these other nations.

In the midst of much religion and idolatry, there is a true Church and a remnant that God has found faithful in Nigeria. He has reposed confidence in their devotion and their service so much so that He has brought His Throne and Altar to Nigeria. Nigeria carries the weight of God’s eternal purpose and on account of that purpose, the Lord will speak to the nations in anger and disappoint their intentions: This is the word of the Lord concerning Nigeria: “Behold I will make Jerusalem (Nigeria) a cup of trembling unto all the people round about when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem, And in that day, I will make Jerusalem (Nigeria) a burdensome stone for all people. All that burden themselves with it each shall be cut in pieces though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” (Zech.12:2-3).

Many of those gathering for evil against Nigeria are going to hear rumours of war in their own back yard and their strength and military might will be required to keep the peace in their own back yard that they will be forced to focus at home.

PRAYER DIRECTION: This is how praying people must pray concerning the current situation in Nigeria: America, Europe and other nations that have bowed to the homosexual madness and entrenched it in their laws have lost the moral right to lead the world. The leaders in these nations are men who darken counsel without knowledge. What they have is military might and past glory and they have no right to tell a nation that is more righteous than they what to do and how to solve its problems. When you pray, recount their iniquities before the Lord and ask the Lord to defend His holy word and Holy name. That is all we need to do. The Lord will defend His holy word and His holy name.

  1.       2015 AND BEYOND: WHAT IS GOD SAYING?:

I said I was going to stick out my neck concerning 2015 and I intend to keep my word. As a servant of God, the Lord has helped me to come to a place of neutrality, so that I can be a channel for him. I am NOT pro or anti Jonathan or his administration.

My faith which is also what I teach based on scriptures like Dt.17:14-20, Dan.4:25, Rom.13:1-3 and many others is that at every period in a nation’s history, God has his preferred candidate to sit on the throne of any nation. Sometimes, when a nation goes into sin and idolatry, one way God punishes that nation is to set over the people a wicked or incompetent ruler. This is what the Lord said in response to Egypt’s idolatyry: “And the Egyptians will I give into the hands of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.” (Is.19:4).

In 2010, when the tension for the 2011 general elections was very high, the Lord opened the door for us to meet weekly with three prominent elders of the Nigerian Church. We prayed consistently for God’s intervention until we got to the point where Pastor Bakare teamed up with Gen. (Alhaji) Buhari. The prevailing opinion among the elders was that Buhari’s antecedent and Pastor Bakare’s well-known outspokenness against corruption and openness meant that the combination was a better option for Nigeria. At that point, we asked the elders a simple question, whether they had prayed to know God’s will. Their answer and disposition was a shock to me. They said in short that they need not pray on every issue as God has given them wisdom and intellect, and therefore they were free to choose and ask God to bless their choice.

We went to pray about this and came back with the word of the Lord. Our presentation to them based on what God has said is published in my book, In the Master’s Presence (See Pg. 334-337 of M.P.) Among other things I wrote concerning President Jonathan: “Jonathan is clearly My choice for your nation now. He is a tool in My hands. He does not have all the answers but there is a softness and innocence about him that will give Me room to pave the way for the David that is coming. Help the elders to understand what I am saying now. Some of them have developed waxes in their ears through years of doing their own things that make them stay with their fixed positions even when I am saying a different thing. I am involved with Nigeria now…” (Pg.339 MP).

Clearly, the Lord backed President Jonathan in 2011 as He revealed His will through different servants of God. The question now is does the President still enjoy the Lord’s support to continue in office beyond his current term.

I will answer that question directly shortly, but permit me to recap a few things:

When God gives the Throne to any ruler, he also impresses in the ruler’s heart the assignment He has for him. The simple assignment that God gave President Jonathan was to repair some foundational things that would enable God build a structure that can carry His purpose. To do this effectively, God gave him a judgment sword to judge wickedness and corruption that was chocking life out of the nation. His presidency would then pave the way for the emergence of a David through whom God would build Nigeria.

The question for God therefore is whether the President has been faithful in carry out this singular mandate of being a tool in His hands to raise a David for the nation.

I have been part of meetings where we prayed and asked the Lord to reveal His will to His pople.

I have also prayed and asked the Lord to tell me His will and after praying along this line for a season, I forgot about it.

In April this year, the Lord gave us opportunity to travel to Kenya on mission.

The day I had opportunity to minister, I was talking to Kenyans about their nation as the Lord gave me utterance. At a point in the meeting, the Lord broke in on me and started talking about Nigeria and His will for the nation. A brother who was in our team was diligent to record the word as it came which I later transcribed. The way the hand of the Lord came upon me in the meeting and the things that transpired later made me to understand that the Lord has spoken His mind concerning this matter, and I want to bring this word to you in humility with every sense of responsibility.

“… And the Lord said I should declare to the President of Nigeria that it is NOT HIS WILL that he comes back to office (in 2015). I am speaking to the Nation of Nigeria. But the Lord said that He will spare him on account of the one good thing he has done (Signing the anti-Gay Legislation). That for once in his administration, he has agreed on the side of God.
The Lord said, when He brings His sword of judgment on Nigeria that He will spare the President. I speak to you O President Goodluck Jonathan that it is NOT the Will of God that you come back as the leader of Nigeria from 2015 because the Lord has chosen himself a man. It is God who makes kings. (Read Deuteronomy Chapter 17.14-20. See also Dan.4:25, 32; Rom.13:1).
God is the one who appoints Kings. God appointed him in 2011 and the Lord gave us that word to proclaim to the nation of Nigeria that he (Jonathan) was His choice (in 2011). People opposed it but we said this is what the Lord is saying. The Lord upheld him, because He was bringing him to the Throne to do a job and the Lord says that he has not done that job well; that he has not done the one thing He brought him to the Throne to do - to judge wickedness and evil because he was afraid of men. The Lord gave him His sword of judgment many times but he refused to use it and because of that the Lord said that his lease has expired; that he has withdrawn his protection.
The Lord said that President Jonathan is Jonathan of the Bible (David’s friend). That he came to prepare the Throne of Nigeria for somebody He is raising. The Lord said that he is raising that person. He has hidden him in the palm of his hand. He is speaking to him (the David) and the Church is speaking and prophesying.
The Lord said that he is hearing the prayers of people that are praying and crying for relief and saying, where is our God. The Lord says he has heard your voice. He declares to the nation of Nigeria, to the people, to Zion of Nigeria that He the God of Heaven has not forgotten them; that He does His work in seasons. That He is raising (Himself) a vessel and he says it is not Jonathan that is the person. That if he (Jonathan) will not take this counsel, he will withdraw his support and whatever he sees on the Throne, that he will take.
But the Lord says He will spare him because he (Jonathan) took sides with him in the matter of anti-Gay  Legislation (His controversy with people of this age).
Declared in Kisumu, Kenya 14-4-2014.

After I heard this word from the Lord, the temptation was there to write off the President but the Lord over-ruled any shift in this direction. We had occasion to be in Abuja for an assignment. The day we prepared to deploy coincided with the day some of the most powerful nations on earth were gathering to offer their assistance to Nigeria towards the rescue of the Chibok girls. During that period the so called Northern elders and some powerful interests in the North were making disparaging remarks against the President when the Lord spoke to me clearly:

The summary of what He said was that the Northern elders gathering against Jonathan was in fact a gathering against Him and all He stands for. It is a gathering for selfish interests and NOT in the interest of the nation.

Secondly, He said that He installed President Jonathan on the Throne and He will remove Him in His own way. He does not need help from anybody, not least the Northern elders or APC to deal with the President.

Thirdly, as a people of God, we have a responsibility before God to continue to pray for the President with knowledge and according to God’swill.

I have prayerfully reflected on the kind of prayers we could pray for President Jonathan in the current circumstances. I want to offer these suggestions:

  1.       That the Lord will grant him help and defend him from the negative influence of sorcery and witch crafting channeled against him by sorcerers, prognosticators and mediums especially from the North and among his own people bent on manipulating him for selfish gains.
  2.       That the Lord should grant him an understanding heart to discern His will  at this time and also to have the courage to do the will of God.
  3.       That the Lord should reveal to him the David He is raising for the nation and grant him a good heart to work for the emergence of this David as his legacy and gift to the nation.
  1.       FOR THE NATION, you can pray:
    1.       Lord do whatever it takes to raise this David for us through whom you have proposed to heal and build Nigeria.
    2.       We agree with you that this David should emerge with or without our political process.

In November last year, the Lord gave me a warning for His people concerning the month of June. (See Message to the Church Part 1 and 2). Late last month, the Lord reminded me of that word again. It will help if elders and Heads of Households will stand in the watch concerning their families and wards especially between 12mn and 3am. If we all do an hour each night between these periods, it will help a great deal.

Remember, we are NOT asking the Lord not to judge our nation. We are simply saying to the Lord, in judgment remember mercy. Also we are standing as watchmen to insist with a strong insistence that Satan will not hijack the process.

I assure you with a strong assurance that Nigeria is firmly in the Lord’s hands and NO ONE can pluck our nation out of His hands. Yes, there will be shakings and judgments but it will NOT get out of hands. Some committed people are praying and the Lord is hearing their voices. You pray too.

In Christ,

Prayer Points For May 2014

God’s Warriors,

We are now at the heat of the war! We must disturb God with our cries to avenge us of our adversaries. We shall not relent in bombarding the heavens until God’s will is established, and He perfects the Body of Christ and makes Nigeria a praise in the earth. This is just the beginning as the Church should by now be having 24/7 altars sprouting all over Nigeria.

As in recent times, Part 1 of the schedule is dedicated to a 7-day prayer and fasting guide from Intercessors of Nigeria. Part 2 covers daily prayers for the rest of the month. Attached also is the 5th Moon Guide from Engr. Olumuyiwa: dissect and apply effectively.

Receive strength to STAND till the end in Jesus name.

Beloved of the LORD,

Grace to you and peace from GOD our Father and the LORD Jesus Christ.

I am pleased to send you the Prayer Guide for the first Seven Days of May 2014. I can’t thank GOD enough for all of you who have continued to be faithful in observing this monthly Prayer Programme. Your reward from GOD is great and assured.

The unfolding security challenges in our country can only be best managed in the place of consistent and united intercession and spiritual warfare.

May I emphasize again that what you see here is a mere guide that have been intentionally kept simple and less technical to make it easy for everybody to use. You however, at liberty to enlarge and deepen the Prayer Points by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Leaders are reminded to study this material well ahead of the prayer times.

Remember to print it out and circulate it widely in churches and Fellowship groups.

The LORD continue to depend on you.

Your brother,

Pharm. Iheanyi Uzoma

National Coordinator

-           PROCLAIM JOSHUA 7:1-13

Enlarge every verse into a prayer of Lamentation for NIGERIA.

-           Acknowledge that we have not prayed, fasted and waited enough before God in order to change the present security equation in the land. Ask GOD for forgiveness and mercy on the church.

-           JOSHUA 7:10-12

Renounce and put away every accursed things in your personal life. Be practical and detailed. These accursed things make us victims instead of victors.

-           These include among others:  Promotion of self, showmanship, strife, deceit, competition with one another, hypocrisy, infidelity, rebellion, prayerlessness, worldliness, dishonesty and falsehood etc. Add to the list

-           Let us through repentance, identify with the wickedness of abducting those female students of Girls Secondary School, Chibok in Borno State. As at the time of this write-up only 39 of the 134 abducted girls have returned.

-           Raise a cry of lamentation for GOD’S urgent and miraculous intervention in this matter that has become an international concern. Mothers should join hands in a circle and wail before GOD on behalf of these innocent helpless girls.

As the church, we lack the required sense of priority, urgency and unity to Spirituality manage this present security challenge.

Let’s acknowledge this in confession and deep repentance and pray for a season of enduring Spiritual re-awakening upon the church.

The watchman ministry of the church has greatly dwindled making it possible for the beasts of the forest to kill at will.

Raise a tearful repentance for our irresponsibility and negligence in this regard.

         A diadem of Beauty

         A Spirit of Justice

         Strength to turn the battle at the gate – (Spiritual strength, Emotional strength, Intellectual strength, Financial strength etc). Pls elaborate on this prayer point.

         To locate and confront satanic altars, thrones, gates, satanic priests and gate keepers.

         To teach every believer how to sacrifice and imbibe the “If I perish, I perish” attitude.

-           READ HOSEA 12:13

Pray that GOD will raise and prosper His true and faithful prophets in NIGERIA in this time of our travail.

-           Pray that GOD will disgrace and frustrate all false prophets who lead our nation and political leaders astray, especially those that go under the cover of Religion.

Thanksgiving and Praise.

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shall thou establish in the very heavens. The heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about Him. O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong lord like unto thee? Or to thy faithfulness round about thee? Thou rulest the raging of the sea:when the waves thereof rise thou stillest them. Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou has broken Rahab in pieces ,as one that is slain :thou has scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm. Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness. Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers. The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun. Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter. The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fullness thereof, thou hast founded them. The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name. Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king. I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings. Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God? Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people. Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah. The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.            The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.             The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook. Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known. Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen. (Based on Ps 89:1-18,Ps 74:13-17 & Ps 77:11-19)

Repentance: Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the lord; (Acts 3:19)

-           Bring to an end every legislation, accusation, sentences, etc programmed into your morning. According to Isaiah 40:24, they will not be sown, they will not be planted, their stock will not take root. O Lord, set Your face against them and blow upon them until they wither and Your whirlwind takes them out as stubble in Jesus name.

-           I will have dominion over the devil in the morning. He will never prevail over me (Psalm 49:14). I will not be afraid of the arrow that flies by day or the terror that comes at night (Psalm 91:5).

-           Lord, make the outgoings of my morning to rejoice (Psalm 65:8)

-           I receive Your loving kindness every morning (Psalm 143:8).

-           Release the beauty of Your holiness from the womb of the morning (Psalm 110:3).

-           Let Your light break forth in my life as the morning (Psalm 58:8).

-           Lord, Your going forth is prepared as the morning, and I pray that You will come as the rain, the latter and former rain upon the earth (Hosea 6:3).

-           O Lord, let Your beauty be upon me and Your Saints. Establish Thou the work of our hands upon us today and forevermore IJN (Psalm 90:17).

DAYS 11, 18, 25

As Saints, we are empowered to decree a thing for it to come to pass. It is our duty to declare all we want in a new constitution for a new Nigeria and leave God to orchestrate them into it! The following prayers are based on God’s economic principles:

  1. God owns everything : People are caretakers and stewards of God’s resources-Ps 24:1,Ps 50:10, Haggi 2:8, Gen 1:28, Ecc 5:9

-           We acknowledge Your Sovereignty Oh Lord as the owner of the earth and everything in it and we your people profit from the fields.

-           The profit of the earth is for all, decree that the National Conference will arrive at decisions that will ensure equitable distribution of wealth in Nigeria

  1. Every person has a right to land or the natural resources: Lev 25:23, Ezek 45:9, Isaiah 5:8

$1-           According to scriptures, we are all but aliens and tenants of God, therefore we pray that the judgment of God would come upon every system that oppresses the people from their rightful portion of the Land in this Nation Nigeria.

$1-          Every person(s) oppressing God’s people by illegally holding unto their land, Father let them be tormented without relief until they restore what belongs to the people of God 7-fold. Let the justice of God go forth concerning the matter.

$1-          Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth

$1-          Paralyse and cast out every destructive power and law that waits for people to build and then demolishes them afterwards!

$1-          Thus says the Lord, O you powers that be in Nigeria, take away your exactions from My people in Jesus name.

  1. Jubilee System: (1 Kings 21:19- 1 Kings 22, 2Kings 9: 7-10, 2 Kings 8:6) Land cannot be permanently sold. It returns to its original owners after 49 years, except if it is in a city. Land and properties in the cities can be sold permanently.( Lev 25:8-9, 13-14, 18, 23-24,28-30,1 Kings 21:3)

-           Oh Lord, we abolish the current Land Use Act and entrench a new law that is in line with Your principles in Jesus name.

-           Father, let laws be enacted that will ban exploitation of the people by corrupt officials; laws that favour even the poorest citizens in the land.

-           In this year of jubilee, Father let everyone’s property be returned to them by Your mercies. Bring to an absolute end the “ABANDONED PROPERTY SAGA” in Jesus name.

-           Help the Conferees by your wisdom to suggest laws that will favour the will of God and will lead us to live safely in the land.

4)         Charging interest (as in usury) is evil, especially as regards the poor: (Ps 15:5, Lev 25:35-37, Neh 5: 7,9; Exo 22:21-25)

-           Curse the structures responsible for high interest rates in the Nation. Woe betide every source of exaction of  usury

-           Declare an end to the reign of the spirit of mammon over our economy

5)         Cancel debts every 7 years. (Deut 15:1-3).

-           Father, let the Government enact laws that will enable the citizens of this Nation have access to Government funding/loan that enables for start- up businesses. And after 7 years if fully utilized but unable to make profit enough to pay back the loan, the Government will cancel the loan.

-           Judge those who will abuse this priviledge (Deut 15: 9)

  1. 6)         Trade fairly: (Lev 19:35-36, Micah 6:11, Amos 8:4,6)

$1-           Father let modalities be put in place for strict laws on integrity in trade. Let stiff penalties be enforced on all offenders for breaking the laws.

$1-          We come against the spirit of greed

Monopoly in trade is harmful because they obstruct the channels of free competition that determine the price and quality of products and services that are offered to the public. The owners of a monopoly have the power, as a group, to set prices, to exclude competitors, and to control the market in the relevant geographic area. We need laws which are based on the belief that equality of opportunity in the marketplace and the free interactions of competitive forces result in the best allocation of the economic resources of the nation.

$1-          Prohibit monopolies (local or international) and any other practices that unduly restrain competitive trade in Nigeria.

$1-          Legislate Antitrust laws

(Legislation enacted by the federal and various state governments to regulate trade and commerce by preventing unlawful restraints, price-fixing, and monopolies; to promote competition; and to encourage the production of quality goods and services at the lowest prices, with the primary goal of safeguarding public welfare by ensuring that consumer demands will be met by the manufacture and sale of goods at reasonable prices).

-           Pray that God will use the National conference to uproot the core problem of Nigeria and lay a new foundation   for the Nation. A foundation based on Truth, Justice, Equity and Fairness.

-           Pray that God will by His wisdom resolve the problem of “Dual Ideology existing in the Nigerian Constitution via divine intervention.

-           Decree an end to the wicked exploitation of the workforce by the established systems, and the denial of their deserved wages.

-           Long hours and low pay must end with the National Conference

-           Let unrighteous labour laws be struck out of the constitution and the right laws which will be family-friendly and enforceable be enacted.

-           Judge Government officials profiting from pension funds thereby causing the death of many pensioners.

-           Father, now let the righteous laws be enacted to favour God’s people and their interests in the land.

 8)        Charge fair taxes and rent: (Amos5:11,14; Ezek 45:13-17.)

-           Every unfavourable law exploiting the poor as a result of unfair taxes and rent should be cancelled.

-           We prohibit high housing rents in Nigeria. Oh Lord, prosper every Government’s intention to mass-produce houses for the poor.

-           Cancel multiple taxation in the country

-           The situation whereby governments will render expensive and commercial services to the populace must stop!

  1. Share and be generous to the poor: (Deut 15: 7-8, Lev 19:9-10)

-           Let Government policies that will safeguard the poor and the future of the less priviledged in the society be brought forth in Jesus name.

-           Crush the tenets of capitalism that tends to (a) pay the lowest possible price (b) charge all the market will bear and (c) give nothing to anybody

-           Oh Lord, release the spirit of genuine philanthropy upon Nigerians in Jesus name

  1. Idleness and Dependency:  Don’t support dependency.( 2 Thess 3:10;1Thess 4:11-12)

-           Enforce laws that discourage laziness among able bodied citizens wanting “free lunch” from Government; let the soul of the sluggard desire and have nothing

-           Outlaw begging from the land (he who will not work will not eat).

  1. Give tithes and offerings. Mal 3:8-12.

-           Nigeria should no longer be a secular Nation. Declare, “Nigeria is a Christian Nation. Nigeria is the burial ground for all false religions!”

-           Since religion cannot be divorced from the throne of governance (according to God’s principle), pray that the law will allow institutions and States/Nation which wish to pay tithe to the church to do so legally

-           Let God touch the legislators’ hearts to approve such requests from the Executive

-           As the servants of God are blessed from tithes and offerings, let God’s continued blessings be poured upon the land.
