Situation report coming from Azikoro town: Fulani herdsmen are all over the bush of Azikoro town. They come out every night in groups to kill people. Some pretend to be military men wearing military uniform in the day but attacking innocent people at night.
When Mike Odeholanta of Desert Herald asked me to produce the names of the villages forcefully taken by Fulani militias, you asked Southern Kaduna Chiefs to give you, I told Mike Odeholanta, 'Why didn't you make the request open? You are asking your Chiefs who you can downgrade or even remove them if they furnish you with such facts and truth.'
Last night, 33 Atyap natives, who were among hundreds of thousands of already starving indigenes under a 24 hours rigidly imposed curfew that was 65 days yesterday, were killed in five Atyap villages in Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf LGA in Southern part of Kaduna state by Fulani militia.
The villages affected are: Apiashyim, Kibori, Apiako, Atakmawei and Magamiya. Prior to now, they were all shutdown with fierce armed military men patrolling and enforcing the 24 hours curfew. But when the gunmen struck, they were not on ground.
